TRIVIA QUESTIONS

What is the student council and what do they do?:

Student Councillors are a section of students that maintain a role of authority in the school. They are able to give detentions to misbehaving students, deal with conflicts if faculty is occupied. They can also look over detention if any faculty is occupied with anything as well. They can help supervise events that are being hosted if faculty is low.

What motivated you to apply for council? (e.g. Interests, friends, etc.):

Honestly, after I joined faculty faction, i grew interest in Councillor and seeing what they do had drawn me in. After figuring out I needed my primary slot I felt defeated, and then I realized I could get an alt account and join that way! So I'm taking the shot to try and join.

Are you aware that you’ll be having to use your creativity and teamwork ethic within the student council? (e.g. Coming up and helping with events):

I am fully understanding and capable of using my creative skills along with my teamwork ethics to work with the other councillors in helping with creating events for Karakura High

Can you list the roles in the council along with other roles that might be important to the council?:

The Councillor President, Vice-President, Councillors. All have very important jobs.

The President: The Student Council President would be the leader of the council. They are the viewer of the student council meetings, and they also set agenda, make sure discussions stay organized and productive with a level of professionalism being put in place. The President would act as the primary link between the students, and the people who run the school known as SLT, they also can hear the students concerns, ideas and proposals to possibly make the school better. They can also have a job to help oversee large events, approve plans and ensure that the members of the council are fulfilling their responabilities. The President helps establish the tone and mood for the council by motivating members, resolving conflicts amongst fellow council members, and represent the school in its pride and glory.

Vice President: The Vice President of the Council would be a helper to the President, and help support their decisions. The responability that the Vice President has is stepping in to attend meetings or anything else when the President is unavailable that day to perform duties. The Vice President often helps to coordinate committees, projects and make sure that all plans stay on track and flow smoothly. They take charge of specific initiatives, such as school spirit events, and campaigns. Vice Presidents are meant to be dependable, organized, and ready to lead when they are needed.

Student Councillors: Councillors, also known as Representatives, are the voice of the students of the school. Councillors of specific grades or group is responsible for bringing student ideas, any concerns they may have, and any feedback to council meetings. They are able to partake in discussions, vote on any decisions being made, and help plan events and help execute them like any dances or balls, spirit week ideas, and any service community projects. Councillors work on committees, helping the Vice-President, and assist with tasks. These make Councillors essential to turning ideas into action, and helps ensure that their role reflects the diverse opinions of the student body.

SCENARIOS

While students gather for a school assembly, one student behaves disruptively, causing a disturbance. How would you manage the situation to restore order effectively while minimizing any additional disruptions to the assembly?

The gymnasium was filled with voices of students. It was a required assembly that was requested. Some student councillors remained on the floor, standing near the stage, a few in the back, and on the sides. The assembly was going nice and planned, or what some people would say. A student in the crowd would be misbehaving, causing a disruption amongst the crowd. Yeong noticed immediately and walked over to the student and spoke in a gentle tone. "Excuse me, please quiet it down. This is an assembly and you must be paying attention."

PATH A: The student complied and sat down, being quiet and the disruption slowly faded into silence so the only voice heard is the speaker on the gymnasium stage. Yeong nodded and smiled towards the student before slowly walking back to his spot, standing still.

PATH B: The student doesn't comply and continues to be loud. "Excuse me, I said please quiet it down. You're causing a disruption, please do not make me tell you it again." The student simply ignores Yeong and decided to be louder. Yeong sighed disappointed and spoke once again.. "I gave you two warnings. Please quiet it down or it's detention for you after school." The student continues and doesn't listen to Yeong's warning.. Yeong sighed and took out a booklet of detention slips and wrote one for the student, handing it to them. The student pouted and finally decided to listen and sit back down and remained silent. Yeong nodded with satisfaction and hummed, walking back to his spot and stood still, listening to the speaker that was on stage.

A student refuses to take their mask off after you’ve brought up detention and they’ve run away! What do you do?

Yeong would notice a student with a mask that he warned many times to take the mask off. He sighed annoyed but he didn't let that show, he calmly walked up to the person and reminded them. "You've been given multiple warnings and a detention warning. I'm sorry but I need to give you detention." He said, taking the booklet of detention slips, but before he was able to even write the student's name down, the student decided to bolt for it and run away from Yeong. Yeong just stared and sighed.. He knew this was a normal reaction that people do. He just shrugged and walked to the nearest teacher, professor, or employee, whoever was near and let them know about the situation. "Excuse me, sir/ma'am. Y/N just ran away after being warned about the mask they have been told to take off. I tried giving detention but they ran. May you please intercom them here?" He waited for the faculty member to comply. Once the student returned, he gave the detention slip to the student and nodded. "Make sure you behave, otherwise, you wouldn't have gotten detention."

A teacher observes concerning behavior from a student, including the creation of disturbing artwork and verbal threats toward peers. How would you collaborate with the teacher to evaluate the situation and intervene appropriately to address potential safety concerns?

A teacher observed concerning behavior from a student, specifically threats and disturbing artwork towards other students. Yeong, who was nearby, overheard what was going on and decided to walk by. "Ma'am/Sir? What is going on?" He asked, tilting his head, waiting for a response. The teacher turned their head and spoke up. "Oh, Yeong! Uhm.. this student was doing disturbing things like creating disturbing artwork, and very bad verbal threats towards another student." Yeong hummed.. scratching his chin before speaking up, "What were the things said?" He asked, tilting his head once more. Once the teacher explained, Yeong thought about it and finally thought of something. "I believe detention can be acted with the actions the student did. That was very disgusting of them to do, and consequences can vary, or this can even be brought up to SLT." Yeong stated towards the teacher, nodding his head and clasping his hands together. The teacher nodded in agreement. "I agree, alright thank you Yeong." The teacher said, thanking Yeong and bowing respectfully. Yeong smiled and bowed back. "No problem Ma'am/Sir"

A group of students asks for your permission to stage a protest on school grounds. Would you allow them to protest? If so, how do you ensure that the protest does not disrupt the school environment while upholding their freedom of expression?

YES: Yeong would be patrolling the halls when he's run up by a group of students bombard him with questions on asking if they can protest on something. "Uhm. I don't know, what would you be protesting about?" Yeong asked, tilting his head towards the group of students. The students responded with a protest to bring the Nap Club back. Yeong pondered.. and sighed. "I guess so, just as long as you aren't disrupting the school environment. Please remain respectful to people's opinions as well as respectful in general." Yeong nodded before walking off.. hoping he made the right decision.

NO: Yeong would be patrolling the halls when he's run up by a group of students bombard him with questions on asking if they can protest on something. "Uhm. I don't know, what would you be protesting about?" Yeong asked, tilting his head towards the group of students. The students responded with a protest to bring the Nap Club back. Yeong pondered.. and sighed. "No. You may not protest, that will disrupt the school environment. Also, the Nap Club got removed for.. reasons." Yeong stated and clasped his hands together. "Now please, let me get back to patrolling." Yeong asked nicely, before bowing respectfully and walking off to continue his patrolling duties.

A teacher/receptionist has told you that you are doing something that goes against what you were trained by your higher-ups. How would you react to this?

While working, Yeong was called by a teacher and was told he did something wrong, and that goes against the training he got by his higher-ups. Yeong tilted his head and asked respectfully, "May I know what I did wrong to fix my actions? "He asked, waiting for an answer. Once he was told what he did wrong he bowed as an apology. "I'm sorry ma'am/sir. I will fix what I did wrong and improve. I can promise you that." He said, brushing himself off and keeping eye contact with the teacher. Once he was dismissed he left and was determined to improve and get better.

Please provide at least one detailed event that the council can use as a future event to showcase your creativity! (Must be 300 words or more for one event):

"The After Midnight Masquerade Ball"
This formal dance would take place at 10 PM in the School Gymnasium which would be decorated in a space themed galactic setting. The dress attire would be formal and dark and mysterious, along with masquerade masks to keep identities a secret. The dance would go on for quite a while, their would be booths for food, storytelling, tarot card readings, photos and more. The atmosphere would be gloomy but not in a bad way, people would be enjoying their time dancing on the dance floor and listening to the blasting, loud music.
At 10:30 PM is when the Tarot Card readings would open for people as they would be getting prepared before hand. People would wait in line to get their past, present and future read for them for free, identity unidentifiable to keep peoples reading a secret and to leave people guessing on who was behind the mask on a terrible or bright future.
Interested in finding out more about your Zodiac? Go to the Zodiac and Aura reading booth to figure out your personality type that matches your zodiac sign.
When it hits 11 PM. The first activity starts. The entire gymnasium goes dimmed with lights to make an atmospheric of a gloomy. A bunch of things start happening. But before this, a few faculty members would be asked to play the villain in an activity that's involved and another, to help make the clues that's later used for an investigation.
When the clock hits 11:30 The lights start flickering, and then the crystal disco ball that was above, is now on the floor and "shattered". People have 20 minutes to get ready to figure out what is going on.
At 12:00. Is when the Clue and Investigation booth starts giving out clues to figure out which faculty member has caused this tragedy that could've possibly ruin the night. Once the faculty member is figured out, the students that figured it out would receive a reward.
