Describe your activity:
Discord;
My activity on Discord is- a solid eight on a scale of ten! I’m on quite a lot due to hanging out with friends or just messing around! I’m somewhat active in the SRP servers if I want to share a topic or if I’m dragged into a conversation! My notifications are always on, so usually pinging me or just saying my name gains my attention!
SRP;
As for SRP, I took a long break due to OOCLY reasons, but as of recently, I find myself ready to come back. All I’m waiting for is my WIFI to be installed! Which hopefully should be soon. But even before my long break, I was active quite a lot! I was in the teacher faction and was active enough to gain my quota for about- I want to say six to seven months and gain my adult tag. I’m active when there’s lore or just when someone wants me to hop on!

(I can’t find my Lore Team Application but I know that was denied)
What is your motivation to apply for reporter?:
My motivation for applying for reporter is- I was held at gunpoint… I’m kidding! I genuinely enjoy writing! Whether that comes to creating characters for SRP, just for fun, creating lore, writing short stories or detail Roleplay! I love being able to express emotions, characteristics, lore, stories and being able to paint words into images in a persons mind. And being a reporter, seems like fun! I’ve hung around the faction several times and it’s always a blast. Whether it just be a silly hang out, or roleplaying with the reporters to either be interviewed, gain a newspaper or just- watch as the station is.. rebuilt everyday..
But being around the faction and those who are in it, I started to gain an interest and thought ‘I really enjoy writing- why not share it with others by writing News Articles!’ Which, I’ve never written a news article before, but there’s always room for learning new things!
Do you have any experience with writing? What is your relationship with writing?:
Oh boy, do I! Writing has been my escape from stressful situations. And I’m not talking about writing in a diary! For instance, during school, of course I enjoyed learning in all my classes, but it was stressful. But as soon as I entered my English Literature class, I knew instantly how much fun I was going to have and immediately relaxed. I have written short stories on- story writing websites. COUGH COUGH WATTPAD COUGH and AO3. I wrote medieval, modern, science-fiction, horror and thriller! I took interest in so many genres that I couldn’t just settle with one. (Even though I’m big on Medieval and horror stories/movies) I even tried writing my own book on a google doc during middle school and finished writing it around my senior year of high school. But I never published it. Mostly because it was just to test to see how far I could go with my writing!
But- my relationship with writing, is strong. I wouldn’t say perfect because writing can of course burn you out or stress you out. But in the end, you get it done and when you do. You feel proud of yourself and feel relieved that you even managed to finish the writing you’ve done. And it feels like such a reward at the end of the day.
Are you aware of - and will follow - the set of rules provided to you?:
Yes! I am aware and will follow the set of rules that were provided to me!
Why should we accept you over others?:
I’ll be honest, I’ve never liked questions like this. I won’t say I’m better than others, or can write better or have a better relationship with writing than others. Because everyone’s writing style, is different. And unique. So there’s not really a say as to who is better than who. But I can say, due to my new living arrangements and work schedule, I will be highly active! I will be able to reach quota, be around to help if ever needed and I’m quick to learn! I tend to pick up on rules, settings and routines very easily, so there wouldn’t be an issue with me causing problems or messing things up!
As for quota, when I was a teacher, I did my best to make sure I reached my quota. Not for the money, but just because I genuinely enjoyed hosting classes. Which I’m sure for reporters, besides the possible burn out, writing would be just as fun! So I wouldn’t have any issues there either.
Do you understand you have to stay completely neutral with all reports? (Your report can't have any OOC or IC bias towards a specific group.)
Yes! I completely understand.
Do you trust that you will be able to stay active and complete the monthly quota?:
Yes! I do believe I will be able to stay active and complete monthly quota! Even if I can’t be online, I can still write reports!
Summarise what you imagine work as a reporter is:
I imagine being a reporter has its ups and downs. I know some people like to mess with factions and ask weird questions. So, it can be a little stressful. But I also know that some people are actually curious! So I believe that reporters in a way act like teachers who just give tips and express what it’s like being a reporter!
But I also feel like there’s a lot of running and/or driving around to meet others for interviews, taking pictures or going to learn about historical places in Karakura.
Of course, being a reporter means being social, as you talk, interview and learn of people and the topics you’re given to write! But that actually seems like a lot of fun because there’s so many stories to learn and write about.

#1 - General report. Report about a topic, informing players about an event or significant issues to Karakura.

#2 - Interview. It's important to have well-rounded questions. Create your own interview with ten questions or more. And answer them yourself.
“The Interview of Miyoko Mori”
[!] The sound of a chair scratching against the wooden floors could be heard before the camera flicked to life. Showing Mrs. Bando and a young woman with blue hair. Eleni smiled and cleared her throat. [!]
Eleni; “Thank you for joining me today, Miyoko! It’s always a pleasure to see you!”
Miyoko; “Of course! If I can help in any way, I’m happy to be a.. guinea pig, I guess.”
[!] Miyoko, would smile and dip her head at the camera, taking notice and she seemed to straighten her posture as she did. [!]
Eleni; “Comfortable? Need anything to drink? Possibly a snack?”
Miyoko; “No no! I’m okay! Very comfortable actually, forgot how comfy these couches are.”
[!] Eleni and Miyoko would share a laugh as Eleni fixed her papers that seemed to have writing. Most likely her questions for the woman across from her. [!]
Eleni; “Okay! To start us off, what is your full name and occupation?”
Miyoko; “My name is Miyoko Mori. I am a College Student here in Karakura. I am studying Law!”
Eleni; “interesting! And how is that treating you? Are you enjoying it?”
Miyoko; “I am! I’ve always taken a liking to government and learning Law. It first piqued my interest when I went to a trial and in my eyes, it seemed so.. I don’t know how to word it. But it definitely left a print in my heart that made me decide to chase after it. I’m hoping to become a lawyer.”
[!] Miyoko seemed to smile brightly as she spoke, going from that shy quiet girl she was known for in her family, to quite the social butterfly. [!]
Eleni; “Sounds amazing Miyoko! Now, I’m writing a report on the most common pets here in Karakura. What would you think is the most common?”
Miyoko; “Hmmm.. Cats definitely. But my family has a fox and a bird. Well, my cousin has a bird. A crow to be more exact. And I just recently got a fox! My cousin’s husband had a fox, named Yae! So.. I guess I’d have to add foxes to that list.”
Eleni; “I know of Yae! I remember meeting her when she was little. What made you want to get a fox?”
Miyoko; “They’re kind creatures. Very understanding and also, very silly. I’ve noticed foxes are very playful and very vocal. Which has always made me love them. I decided to get a fox though because of their personalities. My little fox, he’s a menace since he’s a baby. But he’s a sweet heart.”
[!] Eleni nodded as she took notes, her pen moving neatly as she wrote in cursive before she looked back up at Miyoko. [!]
Eleni; “And what made your cousin get a bird? Or I guess, a crow- you said?”
Miyoko; “I think he befriended the crow when we first arrived to Karakura! He and the bird bullied our family member and chased him around. But since then, they’re inseparable. Pretty sure the crow adopted him.”
[!] Miyoko laughed a little as she crossed one leg over the other. Her hands resting on top of one another on her knee as she started to bounce her leg. [!]
Eleni; “Makes sense! And friendships always seem to be created in the weirdest ways. Why do you think people take in what others would consider ‘wild’ and ‘scary’ animals?”
Miyoko; “Everyone has their reasons. So, you never really know. I do know why Yae was adopted in though! My in-law, Yamato, took in Yae because of her personality. From what I’ve heard, she was very kind and comforting. And during high school, he said he was going through a lot. But Yae was there along with his pet raccoon. They both comforted him, and when Asahi met Yae. She was immediately taken into the Hanazono family.”
Eleni; “So you’re saying these animals that most people would be afraid of, are just really gentle and loving creatures?”
Miyoko; “Yes! They’re just as scared of you as you are of them. They’re just animals looking for a warm place to sleep, food to keep their bellies full. And if you treat them with kindness, they return it ten times more. I don’t think I’ve met someone who has had a raccoon, or- goat or bunny ever regret their pet because they create such a bond.”
[!] Miyoko seemed to get serious as she spoke, tilting her head as she watched Eleni nod and wrote down her notes, seeming to write down word by word what Miyoko was saying. [!]
Eleni; “Would you encourage someone you knew to adopt a raccoon, fox or just an uncommon animal to be seen as a family pet?”
Miyoko; “Oh definitely! If someone was questioning what kind of animal to get, I’d tell them to get either a dog or cat. But if they didn’t want a dog or cat. I’d name off the other options! Which yes, dogs and cats are amazing companions, my cousin has a dog named Freya, a German shepherd. And she’s an amazing pet and the kids love her!”
Eleni; “Do you have a favorite choice of animal for companionship?”
Miyoko; “I’ll be honest, no! If I could, I’d have every animal I see on the street. But I can’t due to how small my apartment is. And all that animal food would be so expensive! I really just love all animals.
Eleni; “And to finish off this interview, would you say all animals are great companions?”
Miyoko; “Yes! All animals can be great companions for elderly, adults, teens or even children! As long as there is a bond, that animal will love you just as much as you love them.”
[!] Miyoko smiled once again and Eleni finished up her notes before looking up and nodding. Clicking her pen closed, she rested her hands on the table. [!]
Eleni; “Thank you so much for your time, Miyoko. You’ve been a great help.”
[!] Eleni would turn and turn off the camera and the audio would crackle before ending! [!]
