List your current roles on the server:
I currently, and basically, only play Shirayuri Heddo. My basketballer whose twin sister is a cheerleader/idol. #LivAndMaddieCore

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
I have experienced roleplay for quite some time. I've been playing SRP for three - four years overall, however I didn't take it seriously up until two years ago.
I have experienced a lot of roleplay such as JockRP, GangRP, EMS, etc. Recently I joined the Female Basketball team and it's been a roleplay outlet for the silly side. However, the team isn't my main focus, though, it does offer great roleplay. I have experience in EMS and have only learned from there. JockRP is the more silly side of SRP while EMS is more serious which I do wish to experience once more.

What is your motivation for applying?
I'd like to revisit EMS once more as I, unfortunately, left too early to be able to experience the full thing which I've always wanted - due to IRL stuff. As a result, I wasn't able to fully experience the joy, silliness, and seriousness aspects of EMS.
I know things are WAY different than when they were when I used to be in EMS, #BringBackRomanova (Please don't.), I want to be able to interact with the server more and interact with the people. I'm notorious for keeping to myself and not really speak unless spoken to which I need to get out of my own little circle and explore #BirdWithWings. In addition to joining a team, I find myself missing EMS and the seriousness that came with it. I miss playing an adult who served a purpose in the server. I want to rejoin and experience this type of RP once more since I had fun the last time I was in it. Thus why I'm reapplying. I'm eager to get a chance and I'm ready to commit role #NoCommitmentIssueSeph.

Which role are you applying for?
(Doctor or Psychiatrist)

Doctor.. #NoPsychSeph :(

What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
Please remember I am rusty on EMS roles... so just bare with me.

Director/Higher-Ups
Director : The head of the hospital, the person who has the entire hospital at their grasp. DO NOT go to this person unless they're a MAJOR problem.

Clinical Manager : This is when the director needs another hand. If having a problem with anyone, go to this person.

Clinical Lead : This is the same as a Psychiatrist or a Doctor however, they're just a higher up. Can be seen training the trainees. etc.

Psychiatrist
Just as an OOC Psych, SRP psychiatrist treats mental illnesses and chemical imbalances. From what I last remember, psych's can treat passed out patients and basic nurse work. These people work in the pharmacy as they prescribe the medication that they can prescribe like Fluoxetine. They also perform KPD evaluations every month to ensure that the officer is in proper condition to be seen as an officer. If not they will be given medical leave. Psychiatrists work on diagnosing patients, and dealing with the same task as an actual psych.

Doctor
This is physical illnesses and pain. Although used to be a surgeon, the doctor and surgeon tag got combined therefore allowing a doctor to perform surgeries, stab wounds, and more! They can also give X-Rays, CT scans, castings, etc. They know the physical needs of a patient after an examination. They also go through their medical history to make sure they can perform what's needed. Such as, if you need an MRI scan, you cannot do it with certain metals in your body. These people hold medical records, treat all ages - asking for their symptoms, etc. Doctors treat them as needed whether that's recovery or a simple casting. They will continue to care for the patient until the patient is ready. Following the same task and an actual doctor.

I am unaware on what paramedics can do, however I am aware that you need a certificate to become one aka once you get accepted in and finish your training course you can contact the director or paramedic chief to ask if you can become one. If a spot is open, you shall be accepted.

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?
Yes!

Character Backstory (Optional):
Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, there was Leonid and Ximena. They had met when they were out getting supplies for the winter cold, that typical romantic bump into each other and falling in love ; or would people like to call it, love at first sight. Leonid sought to find Ximena, when his eyes had locked with hers he knew she was the one. They met once more at the hospital when the winter illness officially hit, winters in Mexico were horrid especially when there were too many dying to insufficient resources. Eventually when it died down and the two got to know each other, they got married and the Jiménez and Anosov family combined. After getting married they had Catalina. Ten years later Malakai Jiménez came along. Malakai and Catalina were close, they weren’t too close considering their age gap, however, they were as close as brother and sister were. They had their arguments, they’re fake “YOU’RE ADOPTED AND MOM HATES YOU!” moments, however that was sibling love. Leonid was tall and lean. He was Russian; born and raised in, however, he left Russia when he realized how much people needed help in Jalisco due to their death rates. He wanted to find something to help. Catalina’s mother, Ximena, was a current doctor in the Guadalajara Hospital. She was known throughout the city due to her kind demeanor and sweet smile. She was one of a kind in Jalisco ; given the name ‘Dahlia.’ Dahlia is the flower that represents Mexico. Its cultural implication dates back to the Aztecs, who had used dahlia tubers as a food source and for epilepsy treatments. Many Guadalajara residents were at Ximena’s foot whether she was off-duty or on. Always offering a hand, it was in her nature. Catalina saw how hard she worked and always offered her hand since she too wanted to become a doctor..

When Catalina finished high school, she was more out-going since she now had the freedom of not having to work hard for a while until she went into college. Her college life was full of indefatigable working. Until the death of her mother. Malakia and Catalina’s mother had caught pneumonia and died due to respiratory failure. This caused the entire family to break, however Catalina saw differently after a conversation with her mother.

“...Mija, if I ever die. I want you to become my Dahlia.”
1746158031155.png

Therefore causing Catalina to think differently. She knew her mother and carried the words of her mother. It was now Catalina’s turn to become the Dahlia.

Leonid moved both Malakai and Catalina to Russia, back to his hometown where he could find comfort in his parents. Where the kids could start anew and no longer have to live in a world where they once knew their mother. Although leaving Mexico, Catalina carried not only her conscientious work, but her mothers behind her back as well. She wanted to, no. She STRIVED to be as great as her mother; Carry the legacy. Catalina KNEW she had to become the Dahlia of wherever she went.

High school was a blur. That’s when her mother passed - year ten. The only a few things she can recall was the not-so lover she had, Maia Steele. I wonder where she is now.. along with her interest in interior design. Catalina always loved designing places, she designed the kitchen of her house, the places her parents lived. She sort of just picked up that trait one day. I guess Roblox, Bloxburg and The Sims really helped. In high school she also baked. Selling random treats to get her money up AND her funny up. She used to play violin, AND she used to dance folkloric - a traditional Mexican folk dance.

Once she started college, Lina studied how to become a doctor after seeing her hard-working parents; inspiring to be like them, she adored her parents ; seeing them as her Dahlias. With the knowledge of school and their parents, She mastered the medical field, however, it also came with its troubles. It came with stress, no time out, and her father helping her out more by not giving her the answers for them to figure it out herself. She read, studied and learned the way of the human body. The anatomy, the orgasms, the nervous system, etc. She learned about terminal illnesses, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, physiology, and every other ology in the books. Catalina was hard working, empathic, and compassionate. She was a reflection of her mother but the better version, the way her mother would’ve wanted her to be. Following this, Cat wasn’t popular. She didn’t find love nor find friends. That was difficult for her. It brought both a favorable taste, and a hateful one. Thus causing her to close up, causing her to become more cold to the people around her, except her brother. Fortunately, Lina had some remorse for the world, including her brother. In the end they knew they had each other and were there to be each other's cheerleader.

Over time in Russia, Catalina discovered many things. Like how she was lesbian (Be who you are for your pride!). Another, the language. It was difficult to grasp, but with the help of her grandparents and father he helped both her and Malakai. Unfortunately, during this time Catalina lost her mother tongue, her brother only knowing it.

Finally finishing school, Catalina was a doctor residency in Russia. Catalina developed ‘seasonal depression’ however, it was no longer seasonal. The idea of her mother haunted her more than the living, but she knew she had to grow from this. “The Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree” is what her father says when he sees his daughter. Catalina worked too hard to lose what she worked for now, she still had the devotion to become a Dahlia. Her hospital sought out new residents to relocate to Karakura, Japan, and Catalina saw this as an opportunity to recuperate. Catalina reached out to her father and brother; explaining how she was going to restart fresh in Japan. The father offered- no. Begged that she took Malakai with her as he was growing old and could no longer care for the two considering they had both become adults. Leonid knew he had done well as a parent, therefore this chapter of his book was done – really he just wanted to be able to vacay in peace without any nagging children complaining about where to eat and when they can go home, LOL.

Together the siblings would’ve packed their things and headed to the airport. Once they landed in Japan is when their story truly starts.

SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?

"I want to become a pulmonologist. My mother died to pneumonia - respiratory failure. I want to help people who died just like her.. i would do anything to have one less person go through something I did, it was a shattering experience. My goal? It's to offer as much help as I can. As someone who is a bit standoffish, this can be out of character for me. However, the pain of losing someone close runs within my roots and I can't just stand by and watch another helpless girl like I once was; the feeling of nothing can be done. I would give my all to not make someone that scared little girl that I was as she felt alone upon this world."

"During this journey, I did end up finding a passion for this subject. It wasn't my dream but it also wasn't something I hated - despite my mother's death being part of it. The human body is a complicated, being one of the most difficult things to understand. If I could be apart of assisting those who are close to respiratory failure, then I feel as if I could do more. The medical field is a tricky one.. not every solution is going to be found in my life time - sort of like the Aztecs using herbs as treatment. I'll be sure to do my best, this wasn't my dream, however I settled for something just as important to me and my past self."

Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
"I used to work in the Russian hospital. However, I was only a trainee. I did often volunteer at hospitals, though."

SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?

Jiménez is 5 '5 Mexican, Russian female; mesomorph body. Brown eyes, and straight hair that was medium length. She was very floral, but her personality DID NOT reflect. As much as she tried to be sweet, she was extremely closed off and often could be seen as a little rude - she was opinionated. Her skin was caramel yet soft, you can TELL she moisturized every morning and night; everything showers were HER THING. Exfoliate all that dead skin girl! Her makeup was soft off-duty, but on-duty.. she had no time to make that pretty face... pretty. Her hair is often seen down at the hospital and out, but if she's going out to some fancy place you best believe her hair is showing off the jawline (She has been mewing). Her nails were short, but had a floral design on them with a clear coat. She did them herself #NailQueen. She was very.. proud of herself. Her head held up high, etc. Off-duty, she wore dresses or revealing clothing. She might be in her late twenties but I promise she's a baddie!!

If you describe her as pictures. This is her.

How does your character act around the hospital?
In the hospital she is very mature and tame. She can be seen conversing with patients and co-workers even when she's seen as a bit dull. While acting dull she manages her time between social hour and work time. However, #WATCHOUT. If a conversation were to bore her, she’ll leave. Just a straight up Irish Goodbye. Not everything is sunshine and rainbows with this one.. This causes her to most definitely hesitate to start a conversation first, but eventually she puts her big girl pants awn and is ready for a conversation that she will always be unsure on why she got herself into it! DON'T GET ME WRONG, she also works too. Lina worked too hard to not be seen working, she didn't want to get fired either.

Off-duty is a different story, but were not gonna get into that!

Does your character function better on their own or with others?
She could do both. She works with others. enjoying the ideas of others and all that jazz. She like contributing to group conversations.. or gossip circles. She is nosey, what can I say? However, she also can be seen working alone as well. As much as she enjoys the loud buzz of a room - the laughter, chaos and chatter. She does like to be alone at times too. The entirety of her life revolved around people, growing up with her brother allowed her to not be alone. Therefore causing her to enjoy the moment by going on hot girl walks and enjoying the nature. She likes the peace and quiet of being without somebody.

Catalina is also one to seclude herself for her own time. However, in a working environment, working alone tends to be less frustrating for her in certain moments; finding it somewhat better. Depending on the situation, she finds herself contorting to the type of environment she needs to be in. Lacking is a reality to face and she often considers herself to be slightly better alone than with other people, but that doesn't change her ability to work with other workers. She's a mature woman, not a high school student who can't communicate to save a life (litwerally). I suppose you can say she's well rounded and not at blocky as you think.
