List your current and past IC/OOC faction applications:
This is the first application I have decided to fill out. I have been playing the server for roughly 2 years now, the only reason I haven't applied to anything before is because I wanted to get to know the server, the people, and the rules, as well, the factions that make up the server. I wanted to responsibly pick something that I would enjoy doing the most, or that I would have a better time roleplaying out. So, this is my first career choice among all the rest.
Describe your activity on the server:
I am extremely present on the server, I currently am very available and reliable on the server, some of the activities and scenarios I've been in are, but not limited to, romancerp, criminalrp, gangrp, familyrp, schoolrp, etc... Some of my favorite scenarios I've found myself in are when the character I play most frequently, Mateus, is found in crazy situations. Which match her insane and outgoing personality. Ariya, her friend, and herself, had decided to form a gang together. The two of them utilized their mutually deceptive personalities to organize a gang based of their hate for what they perceived to be "lies" fed to the public by the government. Once they organized the concept the two sought out specific individuals just like them to form a community of like-minded droids, the two had meetings frequently to spread their gospel on the lies about the government, brainwashing the group, and manipulating them into weapons of personal gain. They trained them to handle every situation, gathered evidence on them to use as blackmail in case they turned into an informant for the cops, however, thankfully, this will not be the character I use, this is just an example of one of the more memorable moments I've had. She would later on become unable to handle the gang, her friend becoming temporarily disabled and herself losing an eye. After deciding this route, the two swore never to involve themselves in gangs ever again.
Another scenario would be with my character, Dorian. He had returned to Karakura, seeking a place to settle after many long years of struggling. He had been having a casual conversation with his friend he had met a few days after arriving there, when he turned slightly catching a glance of a young male staring at him. He asked how he could help but was then swiftly tackled to the ground. He was unable to question anything before he was lugged over their shoulder and dragged off into their house. Dorian later would discover it was his adopted son that he was forced to leave behind 3 years ago, and he flooded with a plethora of emotions, shocked, happy, worried. Dorian had been threatened by Virion's brother, being told he needed to leave the town, or he would kill Virion, his son. The two long lost father and son had struck up a conversation catching up on each other's past and what they missed. During this, Dorian had learned that his son's brother had passed away. Given this news he quickly became saddened by it, given his relationship with Virion, he extended sympathy, knowing that it must have been hard to go through. Although, mixed with emotions of happiness and relief to have been reunited with his son after all these years, along with not having to worry about missing out in big moments in his son's life. Times had changed very much in three years.
These are just two of the small roleplays I've been involved in, however I have done so much more in my time on the server. As well, if given the opportunity to be an officer, extend just how much I can develop the character and give me more variety of roleplay, and experience. I also will be able to do so much more with my ample amount of free time, not only in real life, but on the server as well. I am already extremely active on the server, and I believe that with this position, I will be even more dedicated and excited to roleplay.
What is your motivation for applying?:
My motivation for applying comes from a few things. Firstly, it comes from my love of forensics and criminal justice. Growing up I had always been fond of the tasks and attention to detail inside the departments field, so when I could, I opted to volunteer in a police academy, as well went to college for forensics and criminal justice. I learned quite a lot in the class, like the different types of spatter ****ysis, examining crime scenes, giving my experience in attention to detail, note taking, studying state laws and federal, as well as identification, fingerprinting, etc… So being able to roleplay out situations that let me utilize some of my OOCly knowledge would be a dream come true.
Secondly, another reason I am motivated to seek out this opportunity is my desire for further roleplay experience. I’ve played SRP for roughly 2 years now, alternating between crime, family, romance, and other forms or roleplay, though I haven’t had the time to seek out a more responsible form of rp. I want something that gives me tasks, or goals, something to do that isn’t mindless or routine. I want change in the roleplay, I want to expand my knowledge and skills and I want to experience more than I can as just an average player. I want to be able to participate as a team alongside colleagues, build relationships with the people I work with and get to know them and their characters. I wanna have the ability to be challenged and motivated to be better. I want to utilize my knowledge about the faction inside, so to be given the opportunity to have a chance at being an officer, is also what fuels me to apply.
Lastly, but not least, I want to be able to develop my history on the server. I have waited a couple years to really get to know and understand the server, the community, and the factions that make it up. So that I could decide to pursue an rp that better fits me, or something that I’d enjoy doing and want to be a part of for a long time. I want to be able to be a part of something I’d foresee myself improving in, and be self-sufficient in. I wanted to have the best knowledge on the faction and server rules before applying to something. I wanted to be sure I could commit to a role of such dedication, and have enough time to fulfill the responsibilities in that role. So now, given the time, and opportunity to be apart of something that I enjoy in real life, inside RP would allow me not only to expand my experiences, and utilize my skills, but make RP so much more to me, enjoying the new scenarios and situations, and having the ability to be apart of it.
What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
For this I have a few kinds of knowledge, I have real life knowledge, ICly knowledge, and knowledge on some of the duties of the SRP police, below I will elaborate on that knowledge; Starting with real life knowledge, I am aware that officers are required to be in uniform when on the job, everything in place and all equipment is to be checked that it is functional. Vehicles are to be thoroughly checked, this includes all fluids, the equipment inside the vehicle, the backseats are secure, and everything is to be clean and working properly. This also includes tires having the right pressure and grip, data terminal being calibrated and ensured it works, sirens are functioning, speakers, radios, etc.. I'm aware of the 'rules' behind using the more hazardous weapons, including tasers, guns, and the consequences that come if one doesn't follow the strict protocol, such as; tasers, you must give warning when about to deploy the prongs at the suspect, usually done by shouting 'taser' so that others have time to let go or step away. Guns are a last resort. they are not to be your first, or even second option. They are only to be used if ones life is in danger, such as being charged with a deadly weapon, or shot at. I also know there are different types of rounds, your normal copper alloy jacket rounds, rubber rounds, and bean bags, however, should still be used as a last resort since they are still to be treated as deadly. I also know of a few codes that are used in radios, such as 10-4, or 10-100. 10-4, meaning message received, and 10-100 meaning deceased body found. there is also an alter one, being 10-999, meaning officer down. When a body is found, they are to call in the CSI. This is where most of my knowledge is, having taken classes on it. they are to not disturb as much of the scene as possible, unless necessary. another thing, even in real life there is a quota that is expected to be met.
To elaborate more on my knowledge of CSI work, I went to college to study Forensics and criminal justice so I could get into this field. A few things i learned whilst in those classes involved fingerprinting, blood spatters and splatters, evidence collecting and ****yzing it, criminal laws, and how the system works with that. Starting with fingerprinting, when looking for fingerprints on a scene, you often want to look where hands would be at most. There are two types of dusts that are most frequently used, being volcanic ash, and magnetic fingerprinting powder, which uses a special tool rather than the traditional feather duster. Moving on to blood spatters, there are different kinds that are found and formed from different things. there is cast off, which is from an object, or person swinging the thing that has blood on it. then there is drip, which is stated in the name, simply a drip, often if they are stood still, or walking slowly. then flow, which is found on walls, like a drip, but it falls down the wall. and lastly, transfer. that one is formed when the person touches something, usually a handprint or shoe, and it prints onto the ground the shape of whatever touched it, with the blood.
with evidence collection, there is a few things often used. unlike what movies and shows provide you, they do not only use Ziplock bags. infact, that is nowhere near as frequently used, due to moisture being trapped, especially if you are handling items in a damp environment, like a fresh scene, or a place involving bodies of water. Ziplocks are usually used to hold things like weapons, or bone fragments. but the most used pouch for evidence collection would be brown paper bags. There are many sizes as well, usually all things they could possibly need are kept in the back of their designated vehicle. Brown bags are used since air can still get to them, and it will be able to hold the evidence without the possible DNA being killed from the air being trapped. And funnily enough, even with burnt ashes, that is collected for evidence sometimes as well. They use a paint can-like container and scoop the ashes into it. All items that are collected from scenes are taken to the police station where they can then ****yze them, using any specified equipment needed.
Then there are criminal laws and how that works. When making an arrest, the officer is required to read the Miranda rights thanks to the establishment of them in Miranda v. Arizona. If these are not read, the suspect is able to use that in court and anything said that was to be used as evidence during that interrogation is no longer valid. And as expected, there must be evidence supporting a case involving the suspect. a lack of evidence will result in the case being dismissed. criminal laws focus on offences against the society, including murder, assault, theft, fraud, etc.. but this is not to be confused with civil laws, which deal with disputes with a sertain individual and/or organization.
The things I know ICly about officers is as such, there are two divisions, detective, and the main division. They both have their respective hierarchy, constable > sergeant > inspector, chief inspector, and superintendent. Whereas the officers have, cadet > patrol officer > corporal > sergeant > lieutenant > captain > commissioner. Each of these roles have their respective duties and requirements, however all come together as a team to achieve the same goal. From what I have seen/witnessed in my time on SRP I know some of the duties and equipment KPD have. Some of the equipment KPD has, tear-gas, pepper-spray, gasmasks, radios, riot shields, rubber bullet rifles, tranquilizer rifles, batons, tasers, cuffs, Glocks, cruisers, and motorcycles. Some of the duties an officer has is arresting, setting charges, searching, answering emergency calls, putting out fires, keeping the public peace or safety during natural disasters, investigating crime scenes/crimes, etc… Some of the procedures such as patting someone down require proper reason, such as wearing a mask, being involved in a crime, suspected of a crime, etc… They also need to be against the wall, if an officer doesn’t have a partner to watch their back, they must swap themselves and the person being searched so that the officer's back is against a wall or structure. If an officer is making an arrest they must read the suspect their rights before making the arrest, and inform the client as to what they are being arrested for. Officers are also responsible for writing down reports from citizens who are looking to report someone, or give evidence to a crime under investigation. Officers are not permitted to leave the building without another officer, unless they are a higher-up. Officers can not tase someone without proper warning or reason, as well they can not pepper spray someone if it is not for a proper reason, and warning must be provided as well. Another thing that I know about officers in SRP is that they patrol most hot-spot locations, such as power plant, sewers, and the forest, however not limited to.
Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
The police are as important to SRP as they are in real-life. The reason officers are so important is that they bring a balance to a community. There will always be people who don’t abide by a law, and without officers, there isn't enforcement of the law. So they’re important because they serve as a way to discourage criminal activity alongside promoting safety. Officers do a lot of things for a community, many only see them performing arrests or pulling people over, but, they serve as a foundation to a functional society. Officers not only keep a community safe, they put themselves on the line to do so, running into the storm to get citizens out, saving lives, responding to emergencies, de-escalating situations, investigating crime scenes to bring justice, they serve the community not only as an enforcement of law, but as a justice for moral and well-being.
It’s the same thing in SRP, people often only see people being searched and arrested by officers, but officers are also keeping the people in Karakura safe, keeping weapons off the street, investigating and shutting down crime rings, intervening fights, extinguishing fires, saving people from storms, wild animal attacks, and so much more. Officers are an essential part of keeping Karakura balanced, safe, and protected. They ensure people who feel unsafe have the ability to seek them for protection, have the ability to call them to their side immediately and make sure everyone is well, or cared for as much as possible. It is important to have law enforcement because they serve as the community's help in times when they need someone who’s not afraid to run into danger, who’s willing to do what's right for the community, and do what they can to enforce the laws. That's why the police are not only important to SRP, but for OOC as well.
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are needed to attend or you will be punished?
I do understand that if I am online or available to attend an active training session that I am required to attend, and that if I do not attend, I will receive consequences. I completely accept these terms and will make it a priority to attend all training as they happen.

As well I have a bachelors in law, and my high school diploma. What languages does your character know besides Japanese?:
I am fluent in German, French, and Polish. In fact, I picked up German when I traveled to Germany after
leaving Karakura for a few years, itis such a beautiful country.
Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?
The unique character traits of Dorian start with his pale frosted green hair that flowed across his typically furrowed brows like the leaves of a weeping willow tree, his skin was fair yet tattered and wrinkled as his wisdom exceeded before him. His caramel brown eyes reflect in the sun giving them a golden vibrancy even Midas couldn't compare too. His complex facial structure complimented his sharp jawline, his neck ran to his broad shoulders that could defend armies like a shield, his chest wavered boldness as it remained lifted in confidence. His body was chiseled like a Greek god, his muscles apparent. Even though he wasn't young, he was quite fit. This mighty warrior body sits upon two lengthy pedestals, his legs, granting him a strong towering height of six-foot, five inches.
His complex design was a gift from God, offering innate advantage in his life. Although given his strength and height, this giant is quite gentle, he is kind to those he meets and doesn't anger easy. He is patient and humorous offering a joke to lighten moods. He is reliable and protective, going out of his way to ensure people have what they need and want if he can do it for them. Especially if that includes a taste in fashion, this fashionista has the top taste in fabrics and styles, wearing only the hottest attire he can acquire.
How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?
To begin, I'll discuss how he acts in a professional setting versus a casual situation below;
Professionally Dorian would be extremely attentive and meticulous, ensuring he picks up every small detail that is perceived by his eyes, and ears. His words would be carefully constructive as he spoke ensuring they were professional and straight to the point. As well on the job Dorian is quite hardworking, one could always find Dorian looking for something to do once he's finished his initial task, he is assertive yet receptive to orders. He is efficient and effective with his work always putting in his best effort on the job. He always wants to ensure his work is perfect and if not perfect than improved from the last time. He seeks to be the best he can at his career choice. Although it may seem like this man is just a workaholic, even if he is, he also leaves room for his socialization with his co-workers, getting to know them, their work ethic, who they are, and what they're like on the job, to better understand them not only as a partner on the field but as a friend to watch the back of in and outside work. Dorian is charismatic and empathetic towards his co-workers, even given his bold and possibly frightening stature, he makes an effort to put out a charming personality. He offers to help his co-workers when they need and is always up to ensure they succeed in any task he is provided. As well, Dorian is very open minded. He understands he doesn't know everything, and is always open to correction and training, he's an extremely fast learner and always makes notes, even mental ones given his excellent memory. I digress, Dorian, always seeks the best in himself, and his co-workers. He makes it a priority to do his job, and also a mission to understand what it'd be like to walk a mile in each of his co-workers' shoes. Respect them, as he hopes they respect him, and understand the difficulties in each person's life. To strengthen his relationship and their team compatibility. Lastly, but not least, Dorian is excellent in communication. He understands it is one of the keys to being in a functioning team. Offering all forms of communication, given it be verbal, or physical. He understands it can provide quick and effective direction and understanding. So he practices it quite frequently with all tasks he does as a team. As well he is very well with confrontation, not only confronting someone, but also being confronted if ever needed, he always listens to any constructive criticism one may have about him, so he can improve himself.
Casually Dorian is extremely social, tending to find himself walking around the city looking for new people to interact with. He is an outgoing bubbly individual who always seeks a new friend. Given his great communication skills, and his excellent attention to detail he can often read what a person may be feeling, or perhaps an initial characteristic using that to better their interaction. As well, he often finds himself meeting with friends catching up with them and getting to know them better personally. As well he often finds in his free time he enjoys reading literature such as, non-fiction crime novels, or romance novels, etc... Or if he feels no interest in reading may find himself enjoying the beach watching the waves flow by, he finds it very relaxing. He may also do some of his hobbies, such as action figure painting, canvas painting, golfing, working out, and writing. If all that seems to bore him, he also enjoys traveling around and finding new places he's never seen before, he is very adventurous and curious always seeking to explore the unexplored. He is always seeking a way to fulfill his curious mind. Dorian ponders quite a lot asking many questions and seeking answers to a plethora of things. If not tending to his own hobbies or thoughts, Dorian also may be found enjoying time with his family, although in Karakura it is just him and his son, he still finds that after all the time lost between them, he is the still top of the priority list in his mind. Dorian enjoys talking to Virion. Catching up on what he's missed and also learning more about his son and who he is as a person today.
What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?
Dorian's outlook on the idea of co-workers and teamwork is quite well, he believes that things are much more possible to achieve as a team. That even without needing to rely on a team, being able to communicate and bond is extremely important not only for the work at hand, but for the individuals inside the team. He feels that it is completely important to have co-workers alongside you, that one person isn't going to be able to handle everything that goes on. How important it is to ensure that you have someone's back as much as they have yours. However, as he knows teamwork is the best form of work, he also knows that it's important to be able to depend on yourself given any situation. That sometimes there isn't going to be a team behind you to help, so he believes that individualism is just as important as a team. I digress, although he can depend on himself, he finds himself much more motivated and efficient completing assignments alongside his co-workers. He finds it as a way for a large group to work on communication and elaboration. Especially when the task at hand is too large for one person to handle, he feels it makes people have to think outside the box, and be considerate of the other people it may affect in certain actions, such like moving a couch through a doorway, think like one is alone, and it can hurt the others helping, think as a team and it'll go through the door. As well, he feels it is quality bonding amongst the team, sharing the experiences can enhance the compatibility between co-workers and functionality within a group, it enhances the outlook one may have on their co-workers and themselves, booting a positive outlook all around.
What's your character's backstory?
EARLY LIFE (0-10)
Dorian was born and raised in Greece. At this time, he had both his mother and father in his life. They were very low middle class, but comfortable enough. The majority of their money went to the male, considering his size and how tall he was, how quickly he grew compared to other kids. His health being their top priority. He learned the language of his hometown easily, considering it was most of what he heard around him, catching on quickly. His father however, wanted him to know his language as well, and would sit down with him, teaching him with books, and speaking it to him. Unfortunately, luck was not on the family's side, living paycheck to paycheck. Dorians father would soon pass, leaving them to fend for themselves, and unfortunately losing their home, labeling them homeless.
MOVING TO JAPAN (Age 11-13)
Dorian's mother was offered a job in Hikkaido Japan after catching word of her situation. She would of course accept the offer, hearing that it would pay more, along with providing a small home so long as she were to stay with the company. She worked hard over the few years she was with it, desperate to keep up with Dorian's growing self, trying to keep the boy happy. unfortunately, due to the hours she worked, the long weeks she did and the cuts she made in order to keep him healthy. She would end up passing due to exhaustion, working herself to death. the only thing she left behind for him was a sword, called Anaklusmos.
AROUND THE WORD (Ages 14-18)
Dorian, now lacking both parents and having no one to help keep him up on his feet, had to find a way to fend for himself, alone. He traveled around Japan in search for anything that could help, anything to better himself to keep him up. He wanted more than to just survive, he wanted to live. He wanted to prove his parents' efforts weren't for nothing, to have someone to pass the gift he was given to. Later on, he found a wonderful woman who went by the mane Mitsuki. The two instantly clicked, bonding better than anyone else he had in his life. They would then decide to try and find a place to actually settle, rather than running around aimlessly, and try to find a job, get a stable income rather than surviving on pinched pennies.
KARAKURA (Ages 18-24)
Dorian and Mitsuki would arrive in Karakura, finding that they would provide schooling with no cost, allowing him to finally gain the education he lacked, learn more from books rather than the streets. Mitsuki helped quite a bit, catching him up on the things he didn't know, the things he missed out on, being too worried about when the next meal may come. through hard work and lots of time, he would finish schooling and graduate with a diploma, making it into college where he would get a Bachelors in phycology, originally aiming to work in the psychiatric field, but he would later on change his mind, going back to get a bachelors in hematology with his partners help. he would later on propose to her, and of course she would say yes, the now engaged couple living comfortably together while she worked full time, and dorian worked part time whilst pursuing a masters in forensics and criminal justice, along with a bachelors in law. yes, it was a lot. but it kept the male busy. One day, his wife suddenly fell ill and would pass from an illness in the hospital within a few days. in honor of her, He would continue and complete his schooling. Now having done all of that though, he was lost without his Fiancé. He needed more to keep him busy, usually working around the town, doing what he could.
AND SO ON (Age 24-now)
After her passing, he couldn't bring himself to pursue another relationship, being so lost in work, constantly needing something to keep him busy, be it small things like walking around or working out, or helping with people's houses, like carpentry or construction. He did this for years strait, almost two decades of the same things, over and over, until he was hired to watch over a person he then saw as his son, practically adopting him as his own. He would change his last name to theirs, hired as a guard for the boy, Virion. He learned a lot over the years, growing close to them. His brother, the one who hired him in the first place, would start to notice a change in the boy's behavior, seeing them grow happier. He despised it, and would threaten Dorian, telling him to leave or Virion would be killed, so he obliged, and would move away, not hearing from them for the next three years. he left, and with nothing more to care for, his adopted son being the only thing, he decided to explore. He would take on German classes, learning the language while traveling there, staying there for a year or two. and just for the fun of it, he would learn polish. Growing bored of Germany, he went to Poland, learning the language of their people as well, but nothing seemed to keep him down, make him want to settle, and so he, after only a year, would return to Karakura. upon his return, he would make a few friends within just a few days of returning. As he spoke to one of them, he saw as a tall male approached. He hadn't recognized them at first but would later find out it was his adopted son. He would be knocked down by them, clearly the boy had grown strong over the few years he was gone. He was questioned by the boy, apparently, they were informed he had passed. After all emotions were through, they would accept his return, and he swore not to leave again. As he traveled the town more, he bumped into a male with long blue hair, quite short. they would get to talking and become close friends, chattering frequently, usually by the beach. after a long while of talking, he had found that feelings had grown for the male, unaware that he was into men, but accepted that easily. he found that he was attached to the male, Kazuki, and would then ask them to be with them. They said yes and are currently a happy couple.

To begin, I'll discuss how he acts in a professional setting versus a casual situation below;
If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?
If I saw a co-worker physically or verbally abusing an inmate, I would approach them and tell them to stop immediately, and to leave the inmates cell at once, and I would take over. Taking watch of the inmate. Once done watching the inmate, I would report it to a higher-up to deal with the situation properly as this is not only assault, but also completely unprofessional, and could lead to a lawsuit towards the department. However, given my inability to reprimand I would leave it to a higher-up to do so.
On the contrary, if I tell the co-worker to stop immediately, and they proceed to continue abusing the inmate, I would rush to inform a higher-up immediately not only wanting to quickly bring the abuse to a halt, but to have someone with the authority to reprimand and correct the terrible behavior. Since again this is not only assault, but also unprofessional and can lead to a lawsuit towards the department.
What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?
If I witnessed a co-worker being assaulted, I would immediately radio for back-up, giving the location, a description of the assaulters and would then arm myself with a taser exiting the building, demanding they stop immediately and face a wall. If they comply, I will wait for back-up to arrive before taking aid to the assaulted officer, bringing them to the hospital, and letting the back-up arrest the assaulters. However, if the assaulters do not comply, I will intervene only after warning them that I am going to fire the taser if they do not comply. If they do not comply then, I will stun them with the taser, arresting them on the spot and then aiding the assaulted officer, bringing them to the hospital. If there are multiple assaulters, I will stun one, and by that time, back-up should have arrived, if not, I will attempt to detain/cuff each individual until back-up arrives. If there are no officers aside from myself and the current officer, I will make an emergency broadcast to inform officers of the current situation, before proceeding as stated previously, exiting the building with a taser drawn, and demanding they comply with the orders to face the wall, while I wait for possible back-up.
If I see an officer being assaulted with weaponry, I will radio for back-up, and make an emergency broadcast asking for more officers, describing the situation, the people involved and the type of weaponry, sharps, or blunt. Before placing on a gasmask, taking off my badge, and name patch, exiting the building with a taser, and demanding they drop their weapons, if they do not comply with dropping the weapons I will attempt to tase the assaulters while waiting for back-up, when/if back-up arrives I will then assist the fallen officer, and the others help stun and arrest the other assaulters, while I bring said officer to the hospital.
What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
If I had discovered that one of my co-workers was helping a criminal organization I would firstly, try to gather evidence of said altercation, capturing a picture, or possibly video secretly of their interaction with the criminal organization, before bringing it back to the station, either printing out the picture and bringing it to a higher-up, or showing them the footage of the interaction, I would explain in more detail what happened, and what lead up to the interaction. I would describe any individuals involved or anyone that was recognizable outside of the corrupt officer. Given this being the only way of professionally going about a corrupt co-worker.
If I wasn't able to go about getting evidence on the crime however, I witnessed it, I would still head back to the station and report the whole interaction to a higher-up to investigate. Since I wouldn't have evidence physically, I would suggest a possible steak-out to watch the officer while they are out on patrol, or off-duty to try and gather evidence. In addendum to this if I were on-duty and said officer was off-duty, I would approach taser drawn and demand them to get on the wall, radioing for back-up and giving the location. If they comply, I would detain the officer and anyone involved in the interaction, given it only be the officer and one other. If it were a large group, I would radio for back-up to a specific location in proximity to the interaction, however in attempt not to clue the corrupt officer, if I did this successfully, I would keep watch of the interaction while waiting for back-up to arrive. Once they arrive, I would then explain the situation and would lead them to the actual spot to confront the group of people and the corrupt officer. Demanding the face a wall and detaining them for further questioning.
How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?
If a criminal tried to bribe me, I would deny the bribe and would add it to their current charges.
This is because it is illegal to bribe the authorities or even offer the idea. As well it would be illegal and criminal to accept the bribe. So, if the criminal was being detained, I would ensure that was on the list of reasons for their detainment. As well if charged, I would add that to their charges.
