Describe your roleplay experience with SchoolRP and other roleplay networks in general:
I have a long history of roleplay in my time as a gamer, from text based roleplay and DND, to SRP in minecraft. My first ever interaction with any kind of roleplay I think was in a DND group with friend, where the father of one of our friends was the DM (He has been playing DND for years then). From there, I started finding out more about other kinds of games, types and subcategories of roleplay which then lead me to SCP RP, in which you needed to sometimes to write VERY long responses and very detailed ones, the rules were actually quite similar to combatRP in srp which is why I think I got into gangRP at the start of my SRP comeback half a year ago so fast. Now I have been actively roleplaying in SRP for a while. I am part of an icly family, I am part of a great gang (on my other character) and I am enjoying the RP very much.
What are your current roles on SchoolRP:
None, no roles yet. Hopefully this changes soon
[Grade-12] Samuel CK Lima
[Grade-12] Hae-Min Jung
[Grade-12] Gabriel David S. Lima <- This is the guy who got rejected 100 times already from other biology related jobs
What is the subject you want to teach?: Immunology

What is your motivation for becoming a professor?:
My OOC motivation for applying comes from my past rejected application for other factions with this character and my other character. I've been wanting to join a faction for a while, one where I would be able to RP stuff related to biology (immunology specifically) to some degree, like EMS and teacher. I have gotten rejected in all my applications until now, either due to my reputation, or because I bolded too many words and changed the format slighly in others. So now, after having learnt from my mistakes, I come with a newfound motivation to attempt and hopefuly get accepted into this faction. (Also, to be honest, besides EMS, professor fits this character best).
My character's ICLY motivation (if that's maybe what the question meant): Gabriel (as stated in CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE) has been studying a lot for biology related activities ever since he found himself yearning to learn and find out more about humans. And well, learn he did after years of working in the medical field and research. Now, after some very interesting years, he has decided to start spreading his knowledge to the youth, not only to maybe improve the future, but also to maybe and hopefully, change for the better some of the more problematic students.
Work out two interactive classes you will host if accepted:
1. Clotting Tag - This class will start in the classroom, where Gabriel will explain the basics of clotting and the rules of the game that will be played, "Clotting Tag," before bringing the students around the volleyball/track area. The game requires students to group up into 3 teams (the students will probably be split into groups by Gabriel): Clotting Factors (or CF for short), Collagen, and Platelets.
In the game, Platelets will be tagging Collagens by /grab-ing them. Once a Platelet successfully tags a Collagen, they are not allowed to move until a CF comes and drags them to unite with more Platelets and Collagens. The game ends once everyone is grouped in one place.
For the game to work, it's preferable that the number of Collagens and Platelets are equal.
2. Team T vs. Team B - This class will start and remain in the classroom, where Gabriel will start with a simple explanation of T cells and B cells, what they do and why they are so important. Gabriel might add some other details later about other cells from the immune system.
Anyways, after explaining and giving some fun facts, Gabriel will divide the class into 2 groups (Team T and Team B), where each team has to convince Gabriel why their respective cell is better. Whoever gives the best facts, good things about their own cells, and bad things about the opponent's cells wins. (Gabriel will be using a points system to decide the winner.)
Work out a field trip (meaning a class outside school grounds) you will host if accepted:
One of the classes I had planned, in case I got accepted as a teacher, is a field trip I’ve since improved and thought further about. The activity will begin in the classroom, where students will receive copies of a book containing descriptions of basic types of cells commonly found in wildlife.
After a brief explanation of the task is given, I will take the students to either the forest or the beach. There, they will find a random animal, plant, or insect to observe, describe, and write about in their books. The main idea is for them to identify what kinds of cells they think the organism is made of, using the book’s descriptions as a reference. (Certain keywords will be removed from the descriptions to encourage critical thinking) This encourages reading and writing while also engaging in roleplay (possibly even some detailed RP as people describe whatever they might have found) as they search for and examine the living organism. (Also, this whole thing can also be done in groups!)
It's not really necessary to say the scientific names of the cells, for example, instead of "Erythrocytes" you can just say "Blood cells"
Here is the list of cells that will be included in the book:
- Parenchyma cells – Perform general functions like storage and photos******.
- Xylem cells – Transport water throughout the organism’s structure.
- Sclerenchyma cells – Hard cells that provide structural support for the organism.
- Erythrocytes – Nucleus-free cells responsible for oxygen transport and nutrient movement in the organism.
- Fat cells – Help retain the organism's heat and stores energy.
- Stem cells – Undifferentiated (Not yet doing anything) cells capable of developing into various other types. These originate in the bone marrow.
The book will also include a final instruction: "Find an animal, insect, or plant that looks interesting and use the types of cells mentioned earlier to describe it! Not all possible cell types are listed here, if you’d like to add any that weren’t included, you’re more than welcome!"
(I have homework planned for this and every other class too BTW. Although not 100% of classes will have homework assigned)

Your character would encounter a group of college jocks surrounding a bobcat jock, what would your character do?
Gabriel is not someone who really cares much about rivalries between teams and is therefore not biased at all. The moment something seems to be happening that goes against school/college rules, Gabriel will act. You cannot get on Gabriel’s good side by being a Bobcat or a Spartan, you might maybe get him to be a little biased in your favor by studying well and/or being a family member of his which still won’t help much if you really mess up (Assaulting someone, bullying someone etc).
Your character would be supervising detention, one of the students constantly disturbs by asking stupid questions, what would your character do?
Gabriel would quickly ask the student for his intentions. There are some (although rare) students who really ask stupid questions because - well... They don't understand something or are simply curious. That's why Gabriel asks for the students intention, if the response seems unserious or sarcastic, then probably it's better to tell the student to remain quiet and stop asking question or else SLT might get involved.
Your character would be hosting a class, and a group of cheerleaders keeps on playing songs on the phone and calling out other students in the class, what would your character do?
This one is pretty obvious. I will be assuming the cheerleaders are part of the class. Gabriel will first (depending on what happens firs, either the calls or the music) remind students to turn off their phones unless stated otherwise, or else the phones might be confiscated or the student even kicked from class. Any student who doesn’t follow this rule will be kicked out after the second verbal warning. If Gabriel notices that the cheerleaders are calling people specifically to try and get them in trouble or to bully them, he will go up to them and threaten detention if they continue.
Your character would be walking on the school perimeter and encounter a fight between a couple of students, your character tried to break it up but it didn't help, what would your character do?
(This is based on what I have seen other faculty do)
First thing Gabriel would do is call for backup (if possible) through the radio. Gabriel would also write down the name of all the students and proceed to later give them detention/SLT involvement. Once backup arrives, Gabriel would get physical trying to seperate the students with the help of other teachers.

Tell us everything you know about the character you will be playing in a few paragraphs. What does they look like? What makes them unique and different? What is their outlook on Students? What about the other teachers? What is their personality like? What is their plan for the future?
Gabriel is a 6'3'' tall male with Mexican and Spanish features. His appearance remains similar to when he was 25, meaning he still looks quite young and bright. He usually wears whatever he finds at home, probably some jeans with a random shirt that might match.
Gabriel, like most of his family, grew up constantly moving before finally settling in Japan. He was born in Uruguay but moved to Brazil at age 8, then to Spain, then back to Uruguay... Gabriel, getting tired of the constant movement, decided that for now, studying and focusing on what he likes was the best course of action.
This is when his studying and career path started to take shape. He got deep into medicine and later education, but never lost his grounded and laid-back personality. What makes Gabriel different is how casually he presents himself, even with all his experience. He doesn’t put himself above others and doesn’t act like he’s smarter than everyone else, even though he probably is quite above average.
When it comes to students, Gabriel is straightforward but understanding. He doesn’t really tolerate laziness or disrespect, but he’s patient if someone’s trying. He cares about students genuinely, especially since he knows how rough things can get. As for the other teachers, Gabriel doesn’t get too involved in drama or school politics, he’ll work with them when needed, but he mostly just focuses on his own classes. Those that deserve to be respected will be, those that don't fit his view, won't be.
Gabriel’s personality is chill, logical, and a bit sarcastic at times. He’s not easy to provoke, but once someone crosses a line, he won’t hesitate to act. For the future, Gabriel doesn’t have a super clear plan. Right now, he just wants to teach, help out however he can, and maybe try to improve things in Karakura little by little.
Describe how your character ended up becoming a teacher and their previous life. It is optional to include earlier life but recommended.
Make sure this is over 100 words.
Gabriel completed a five-year early finish in a Uruguayan medical program, which he had started at age 16. Afterward, he spent five years in residency, specializing in infectious diseases with a specific focus on immunology. Later, he shifted his career toward research, moving to Japan to live with his family. Despite this transition, he continued practicing medicine in Tokyo, working at a local clinic while studying on the side for a specialized degree in Microbiology and Immunology. Thanks to his prior medical experience and coursework, he was able to earn researcher status in just a couple of years, soon quickly climbing to a PhD at around age 29.
After finally grinding and grinding and earning the PhD, Gabriel grew worried about his family after a relative was recently assaulted and gravely injured. He decided to move to Karakura to help. That’s when he found out about the… not-so-ideal state of Karakura’s youth, youth that Gabriel’s own family was part of. This both shocked and angered Gabriel. “Why is the government so stupid? Can’t they see what’s happening to their city?” he asked himself.
After a few sleepless nights, Gabriel decided what needed to be done: to help and raise a better generation of young adults. For now, he would attempt to become a professor in Karakura.
