Describe your activity on the server:
I started playing on the server during late 2022, and I did have breaks during 2023 due to being quite busy during that period. Although I don't think I will be having any breaks any time soon. I am now a very active player on the server, and I am nearly always on for 4+ hours every day. However, by joining a faction, I believe that I will be even more active than I already am, and I'm sure it will improve my involvement in the server.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
Yes, I understand!
School Employee Role you are applying for?:
I am applying for the Nurse role.
In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
A school nurse's job is to look after the students' physical and mental well-being, whether that's direct care such as treating cuts or bruises, or supporting students' mental health. Looking after students' mental well-being and health is a crucial part of taking care of students as a nurse, although it is often overlooked when someone mentions the title 'nurse'. This includes offering support to students to help regulate their emotions and actions, promoting healthy behaviours and habits. By doing so, this creates a safe, comfortable and confidential environment for students who seek help. In addition, they are involved in assisting students with direct care, such as when they are bleeding, bruised or simply don't feel well. Often, this only involves an ice pack, some band-aids or monitoring a sick student. Although in some cases, students or faculty may require immediate professional treatment, and such instances require prompt nurse involvement, taking care of the casualty until EMS arrives. Overall, nurses are essential for a comfortable and healthy learning environment, to keep students and faculty's physical and mental well-being the best it can be.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I have been playing on the server since 2022 and roleplayed many different scenarios, having used a variety of unique characters. These characters have ranged from stereotypical school bullies to complex and in-depth, mysterious personalities. Before I began playing on the SchoolRP server, I had been extremely involved in any roleplay games, such as Royale High when the main aspect, roleplaying, was at its peak in around 2018-2019. I had continued to play up until 2022, when I had created my first character for SchoolRP. I do have a lot of experience in roleplay, in a lot of aspects, such as romance, combat, gang, and much more. I have an extremely positive attitude towards roleplay because of my past of playing nearly only that genre of videogames since I was young, which may be why I'm so involved in it now!
Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
There are many benefits of joining the School Employee faction, many of which I personally would love to experience. Benefits such as being exposed to more formal roleplay/DetailRP and becoming more involved in IC activities and events are some that I can think of. Although I'd like to call myself experienced at detailrp/formal roleplay, being exposed to more of those areas in roleplay will allow my skills to develop and grow even more, while having fun expressing myself. In addition, I would love to be involved in more activities within the server, and I believe that being part of this faction would be a great example! In conclusion, I am extremely eager to try and join this faction for roleplay experience and for involvement!

Situations
During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
Mr. Byun would calmly approach the student, allowing them to finish speaking before giving them a polite reminder that they are in an environment where everyone should feel safe and respected. He would then bring the student to the nurse's office to have a one-on-one conversation on what made the student feel the need to curse at him, and what he can do to possibly fix the issue. Lastly, he would request that the student thinks about how their words could make someone feel hurt and disrespected, and to try to keep their language civil next time. If, after that encounter, the student continued, he would give them a gentle warning that detention could be issued, and if repeated once more, he would issue a detention.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
Keeping a calm demeanour, Mr. Byun would call for backup on the radio in case it got out of hand, mentioning a fight through whispers. Approaching the students, he would swiftly step between the two, warning them with a firm yet caring voice that they are on school grounds, before taking care of any injuries that may need to be tended to rapidly or calling EMS if it is beyond his level of expertise. Afterwards, he would bring the students to the nurse's office to patch up any smaller injuries and have a conversation about what caused the fight, mentioning healthy solutions like communicating rather than physically hurting one another. If a conversation about who initiated the fight is brought up, he would promptly turn it down, as he would issue both students a detention. This is unless one student was defending themselves, in which that student would not receive a detention.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Slightly taken aback, Mr. Byun would ask to speak privately with the employee, before reminding them in an unyielding tone that what they were doing was completely inappropriate to do in a school setting. He would encourage them not to continue what they were doing, warning them of the fact that they should be promoting safety rather than doing such things on their job - let alone where many children and teenagers are learning. Depending on the severity of the employee's actions, he would either leave them to choose whether or not to do the right thing, which would be to stop, or he would warn higher-ups about what they were doing.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
Scanning the room with attentive eyes, Mr. Byun would look for any other employees that aren't talking to others or anyone he knows. Being a very social person, he would approach the chosen employee, sitting down to have a bite of food while he conversed about his day, making sure they know that they can call him over if a student ever needs to be patched up! Paying attention to their cues, he would make sure that the conversation wasn't just one sided - asking politely about how their day has been and offering help with anything they may need assistance with on the job.

Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:
/me (patching small wound)
/me fa5c9&owould close the nurse's office door behind him before calmly assessing the student for any injuries. There was an abrasion on their right knee, possibly caused by scraping it on something inside of the school grounds while walking. &f"There is a sink over there, feel free to go and rinse off your knee!" fa5c9&oHe requested, beginning to take out any supplies he may need, such as an antiseptic solution for wounds, a bag of cotton balls and a large band-aid. As he waited patiently, he walked gracefully to another sink, lathering his hands with soap and scrubbing away any germs with ease under the running tap. Soon after, standing by his supplies, the student approached him once more as he maneuvered his arm out to politely signal to sit down. He turned around, grabbing a gauze pad to lightly pat the wound. Afterwards, he picked up the antiseptic solution and a singular cotton ball, pouring a generous amount of antiseptic onto the fluffy texture. &f"I apologise, this may sting a little bit!" fa5c9&oHis voice laced with wariness, he dabbed the cotton ball onto the wound, evenly spreading the antiseptic, before throwing the ball into the nearest trash can. Grabbing the band-aid he had prepared earlier, he took the film off of it gently, sticking it onto the wound with care, assuring the pillowy parts are covering all of the wound! &f"You're all set!" fa5c9&oSpeaking confidently, he held his hand out for the student to take to help them up.
/me (treating allergic reaction)
/me fa5c9&owould begin by assessing the student, meticulously scanning for any signs of allergic reactions and anaphylaxis such as swelling, hives or difficulty breathing. If any severe symptoms like those are seen, he'd swiftly grasp an adrenaline autoinjector, injecting the correct dosage for the student into their outer mid-thigh. &f"I've got you! Everything will be okay." fa5c9&oHe reassured the individual, his voice determined. Pulling his phone out, he began dialling EMS with steady, fast hands, making sure to monitor the student's physical state at all times. &f"Help is on the way, hang in there!" fa5c9&oHe spoke, every movement done with care and precision. After calling EMS, he would keep extremely close watch to make sure the symptoms improved; if not, he would inject another dosage of adrenaline and repeat until EMS arrived.
/me (helping lost student)
/me fa5c9&owould walk through the hallways on his way to the nurse's office, his eyes scanning past everything attentively, when he heard quiet sobs from the other side of the staircase. In a swift movement, he turned around, approaching the situation with ease. The student before him was in tears, looking up at him through foggy eyes; probably a grade 7 student, as they looked rather young. &e"I-I lost my class," fa5c9&othey begun, sniffling in between words, &e"and I don't know where to go..." fa5c9&othe student mumbled, clearly distressed. Mr. Byun held his hand out to help the individual up, reassuring her. &f"Hey, hey, you're okay. I myself get a bit lost when I'm trying to get to the right place in this school. Now, where is it you need to go?" fa5c9&oSympathy and comfort spread through his voice, nodding to the student when they responded with &e"Room... 217" fa5c9&oWith an unsteady voice. Smiling, he led them down the hallway, pointing towards reception. &f"See, you can ask someone at that desk where something is if you ever get lost." fa5c9&oHe then chuckled a bit to himself, adding to his last statement. &f"Of course, any teacher will help you find where you need to go, though. It never hurts to ask!" fa5c9&oAfter a short while of walking, they arrived at room 217, and Mr. Byun waved politely as he nodded and left the student to it at their classroom.

Backstory
Jung-woo Byun was born on July 18th, 1998. He was born and raised in Jeju Island, South Korea, by his loving mother and father. He was begotten on a rainy day–A symbolization of his life being foretold. He was destined to have some type of bad karma.
He didn’t grow up with a lot of money; however, he did grow up in a house full of love. His mother was compassionate; his father was attentive but strict. His father was a humble farmer, extremely tough as the soil wasn’t suitable for planting–His mother was extremely sickly. She was sick a lot of the time, Jung-woo being the one to take care of her whilst she was bedridden.
Jung-Woo Byun didn’t have the chance for a childhood before he was forced to grow up at age five. By the time he reached that age, he was taking care of his sick mother and his three younger siblings. His father was obsessed with the idea of a big family, without caring about the price his children would have to pay. Jung-woo got stuck with his father’s misfortune, just so his siblings wouldn’t have to prevail.
Things took a turn for the worse when his mother became deficient. She was barely eating, sleeping almost all hours of the day, and neglecting her children. Their father was barely home–he was tending to their crops; They needed money somehow.
Jung-woo, when not helping his family out, would make his way to the local library and study as much as he could about medicine, diseases, and many other medical practices. He would study until he believed time was fit and he was needed back at his house.
He balanced his family life while still being able to make time for the library. He was fascinated with the medical world; he had a drawing to it. Instead of spending money on a doctor, Jung-woo made time to try and help his mother get better. Sometimes, his at-home remedies would work–She would gain a good amount of strength to continue to take care of her kids. When they didn’t work out, he stayed up and worked extra hard to perfect them. He wanted his mother to be okay.
Ever since he was a kid, he had been saving up for something, he just didn’t know what. He came to the realization that he wanted to help people. Jung-woo wanted to be the reason people would get better quickly. He wanted to help people; that’s what he was always drawn to. He wanted to assist anyone he could.
After gathering enough money, Jung-woo decided to fly out to Karakura. Previously, he had sent in a letter for a Medical School college degree. Seeing his experiences, they believed he was a perfect match for their program. He knew this is what he needed to be. He needed this, to make his mother proud.
Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
"My motivation..? Well, ever since I was young, I've been taking care of the people around me, whether that's my siblings, my mother, or my friends... I believe that everyone deserves that love, to be taken care of and helped when they need. Becoming a nurse at Karakura, I would love to be involved in such activities, helping people out in tough times, when they've gotten hurt. I am qualified to help them get back up again, whether that's with a band-aid, stitches, or simply a newly familiar face. In doing so... I will feel proud that I have helped any of these people. Being a nurse means that any situation could be life-threatening for someone, and we're here to help out and give them a second chance. That's my motivation."
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
"I believe that I hold traits that many others may not for this job. I am extremely hard-working, compassionate, patient, and calm, even under a lot of stress, which is something not many people have in them. Being hard-working, I will work hours on the job during my shift and overtime, if it means I'm giving someone a helping hand. To add to that, I am extremely patient.. It takes a lot to make my patience thin. That is something that's very important as a school employee, students can really be a handful. I'm also a quite calm person, so I can think extremely logically in situations where most would be stressed. If this application isn't accepted... Well, then I'll apply again next time! This is truly where I would like to be with my life, working with students."
