What position are you applying for (Maiden or Priest)?
I am applying for the role [Priest]
What is your motivation for applying?
My motivation for applying is: Well, it’s quite simple, I’ve always found myself more attuned to the Religious / Shinto aspect of SRP. Though I’ve never applied for Shrine, I’ve wanted to for quite a while. I’ve put myself forwards trying to learn all I can about the SchoolRP shrine faction, learning about Tarots, Kagura’s, and more, teaching myself Shintoism, and even asking others about it!
New Experiences: Joining Shrine will provide me with this cool concept “New Experiences.” It allows me to learn more, and grow my ability and skills regarding roleplay. It shows me the chances I need to roleplay with more people, offer people different kinds of roleplay and more. It shows me what it's like to be on a whole other side of the server! It allows me to roleplay in many aspects. That aids my motivation.
What do you currently know about Shintoism? Are you willing to learn more about it?

Character Full Name:
“Taiyo Zoju-Shinzozaki”
{!} a small pause, his hand pressing against the back of his neck, his hand moving up and down slightly, his nails digging into his neck, a tell-tale sign of Anxiousness, or guilt in some situation, but which was it now, Guilt? Anxiousness? A sudden wave of Crazy? {!}
“My parents used to sit me down, by our old fashioned fireplace- But Eh, I suppose that's irrelevant to you.. But they would sit me there, along with my Two siblings, we’re triplets afterall, and tell us the definition of each of our names.”
{!} He paused, glancing down and grabbing a paper, one with three sections, three names, and three definitions of those names. {!}
“I was always told that mine meant Sun, Which it does, but they said it was because: I shine so bright, and so does my future, they’d sit me down at least once a month to tell me that they believe in me, that they think I can do great things, if I just put my mind to it, that is.”
Character Title:
[!] He took a small pause, pressing his lips against each other and breathing in, his fingers pressing against his leg, almost like a gut instinct, trying to beat the nerves from the interview [!]
“I prefer to go by the title “Mr” over anything, Really.”
{!} He paused for a moment, allowing his breath to cover the bottom of his chin as he inhaled, taking a moment to think, before speaking again {!}
“Though, the preferred title is ‘Mr. Zoju-Shinozaki, People can just call me Taiyo, really. I don’t mind being called by name, not even one bit, truly, it has that uh- Humanizing quality? Hearing somebody call for your name, it’s almost soothing.”
Character Age:
{!} The male sat there, finally crossing his legs, almost a feminine stance, his legs over-lapping one another and resting there. {!}
“Mm, Thinking back- It was 21 years ago that I was born, then again, I was only born a few days ago- 21 years ago”
{!} An unnecessary pause, he was real good at these, so it seemed, It was a deciding factor between gasping for breath between questions, or being fine, sweating, or being fine, This man did nawt have the lung capacity for this, he almost died just scaling the mountain, luckily enough if he got accepted here, It wouldn’t be a uphill all the time, he’d live there! {!}
“I am Twenty-One years old, my birthday was on April 8th of 2005, I apologize for the ranting, I do it quite often, makes for a poor interview- Really.”
{!} a slight nod, almost acknowledging his own words, he waved his hand, in front of his mouth, almost dismissively, Like he was prepared for the next question, He opened his mouth, but nothing came out, and he just waited for the next question {!}
“-”
Character Marital Status:
{!} The man’s hair flowed slightly, almost reaching to the top of his neck, as his finger went to fidget with the top of his bangs, running a cold hand through the flowing bangs, His eyes trailing, meeting the other persons. He was about to make a shitty joke. {!}
“Hah, Why, Interested?"
{!} He chuckled. . Likely the only one in the room to do so, Yikes, this man was corny, and not even in a good way, I fear. {!}
“Sorry- Sorry- Not funny, Really,”
{!} He gulped, He believed that this joke could have sold him the job, the interview, his first born son, could have sold it all. {!}
“Just like my other two Triplet(s), We are all single, at least at this current moment. We've had a few moments in the past, we’ve given time to people that shouldn’t have deserved it. And were always willing to give somebody a chance, whether others think they deserve it or not.”
{!} With that, he waved his hand, pointing at the desk, then the paper that the person had been filling out, Likely an evaluation of him. He was prepared for the next question, with only one goal “Dont Sell, Taiyo, Don't Sell!” and it was ringing in his head. {!}
Character Nationality:
{!} He pulled out a map, what was this man, Dora the Goddamn Explora? He folded his hands firmly into his lap afterwords, It appeared the map was of japan, he fell silent, and counted in his head, once ten seconds had passed he spoke.. {!}
“Well, Im from Japan, So are my two siblings- I guess that would make me, and them, Japanese, or Karakuran, Since im from Karakura, Right?”
{!} He nodded briefly, pointing directly to the Karakura point on the Japanese map, before nodding to himself once more, giving a final hum as the interviewer asked the next question {!}
Degree/Certifications (If applicable):
{!} He gulped. Audibly. And loudly. He didn’t have much, but this is where he provided his handy dandy, Resume! {!}

I went to Yonsei University in Korea for my studies.”
Backstory
Early Days: Taiyo was born to a set of Triplets, Taiyo, Amaya and Tsuki, They were born to two prestigious Japanese families, Zoju and Shinozaki, both well known in the town of Karakura, though may not be too well liked. Zoju’s were lead by a few reckless people, and eventually caused their downfall, before being reformed, replenished, and re-birthed, which is the Era of the Zoju-Shinozaki’s.
When Taiyo was born his parents were missionaries, going to other countries to preach their own religion, try to expand actively, they belong to a fancy, A universalist one, at that. They both traveled to other countries, but they could only take one kid with them, at the time, It ended up being Amaya and Tsuki that were brought with most of the time, leaving Taiyo with his grandparents, Active believers of “Shinto”! Which would eventually form his belief in the religion, They actively spent 2-3 days at the Local Shrine, The Monastery, where they would read Taiyo stories about the Kami’s, and profess their faith to him, in hopes it would rest in his mind, and drive him to the Religion.
Teenage Days: Taiyo had just started going to highschool, his parents finally stopped traveling, though he still found a majority of his days spent with his grandparents, The rest of the days he had left with them, Sadly, his grandparents would pass away at the Age of 17, Though during his Middle School and Highschool years he would still visit them, He even slept at their house most nights.
During the time he was “living with” his grandparents, He allowed Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evenings strictly for the shrine, His grandparents came with Thursday and Saturday, Though he wanted to go alone Tuesday(s), give himself time to study and focus on finding exactly what his own beliefs were.
He found himself really enjoying the studies and really enjoying the religion of “Shinto” So when his grandparents passed away at the ripe age of 17, He took a Hiatus from high school, starting his work at the local monastery, a paying internship, where he built up the funds to buy his grandparents house, Then started taking online courses to finish out his high school career, This opened the opportunity for him to transfer over to Korea to take a College Course on Shinto and Cultural studies there, while doing a cover-job for a Priest that had taken maternity leave at the local Shrine, before eventually taking the Temporary spot over, working as a paid intern. During his time there, that is. After his studies he moved back to Karakura to live in the house he had bought after high school, His grandparents, He had formed into his grandparents religion, he had taken it and made his own beliefs, if his parents didn’t leave him with his grandparents, he would have never found the religion, never found his faith, and never had found his goal, and reason in life.

CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE / SITUATIONS
How does your character act around shrine grounds? How do they interact with guests and other staff?
ৎ୭
Taiyo Zoju-Shinozaki, His behaviour around the shrine grounds, On or Off-Duty, is the utmost respect. He will bow at the torii gates, cleanse his hands at the water before entering with the ladle, and respect the shrine the best, and most he can.
His interactions with guests are also marked by the utmost respect. He wants to treat them, one, how he would like to be treated, and also how he should treat guests of a mighty shrine. He believes that all guests of the shrine are to be treated as the Kami would treat visitors, with respect, and kindness, a religion can not spread if people do not have interest, and if people are not treated nicely by those who are seen as high in the religion, they will not have interest in it, and not enjoy learning about it.
You see a guest jumping around the roofs of the building and overall disrespecting shrine grounds, how would your character handle it?
ৎ୭
If Mr. Zoju-Shinozaki were to see people climbing around the roofs, and disrespecting the shrine grounds, he would first gauge how far they are, if he can talk to them without yelling, he will, He will only raise his voice when it is necessary.
He will warn them to get off the roof, giving them three warnings to do so, before he then threatens to blacklist them, before bringing up the person to a higher-up of the shrine, and asking for help if they still don’t get off the roof. The absolute worst he would do is ask for KPD to help remove the person, before putting them on the black-list with HU approval.
Why does your character want to become a shrine maiden/priest? What do they wish to achieve?
ৎ୭
He wants to become a Shrien Priest, because he’s been working in Shrines since he was old enough to, working alongside esteemed Maidens and Priests, learning the religion and doing all he can to stay knowledgeable and teach it to new people.
His Goals? That’s rough, But, He would ultimately, if asked, say his goals is to respect the shrine, and the kami, keeping it up kept, and an ultimate clean and safe place, But what he wouldn’t notice, is a hidden goal, something that’s lower on his list, but still ultimately there. He wants to teach newer generations the religion, and hopefully influence people to apply to the Shrine in the future, hopefully making it so they enjoy Shinto, and want to learn more and more about it.
What are the core values of your character?
ৎ୭
Respect: He shows deep respect, not just towards the Kami but towards people. He does his best to show the most respect he can.
ৎ୭
Purity: Purity is Central. he performs rituals, cleansing physical and Spiritual Impurities. He’s prepared body & mind before approaching the sacred.
ৎ୭
Harmony: He lives in Harmony with Nature and the Kami. He sees it as key. There is no room for Conflict or Imbalance.
ৎ୭
Sincereity: He sees honesty as a pure thing. He takes dishonesty with a heavy heart; he sees Sincerity and honesty as a High Value.
ৎ୭
Gratitude: He shows thankfulness for life, for the things he’s been granted, the opportunities he’s had, and more. He’s very thankful for everything and outward about it.
ৎ୭
Tradition and Duty: He finds great love in the traditions, working hard to keep up with them, and keep them strong in his own life. Whenever he has duties, he tries his best to complete them, putting the utmost rush on them.
ৎ୭
Simplicity: He likes to keep things simple, not over-complicate them and explain them in a way that people can understand.. So that people are more likely to want to know more, because it is, simple!
