What is your Minecraft username?:
BabyDollSofie
Do you have Discord (If so, what is your discord username?):
BabyDollSofie
How old are you? (Optional):
20 (2004)
What is your time zone?:
CST
Describe your activity on the server:
My activity on the server would most likely be seen as a 9/10 on a scale, as not only do I have real life duties I tend to, I also have a bit of a hard time with sleeping. Which causes me to either sleep too much, or too little. Regardless of this fact I still manage to get in at least a two hours of being on SRP a day, roleplaying and chatting with its members.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
Absolutely
School Employee Role you are applying for?:
Receptionist
In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
A receptionist is tasked with handling multiple types of responsibilities when it comes to the faculty and students of the school. They tend to be seen as just a simple employee, working away on their computers and checking in students and visitors. But they have so much more work than just simply sitting at a computer all day. Receptionists work hard to maintain order in many schedules of the school staff and student body. Whether it be assisting in student rosters or simply guiding students on what to do during important time, making sure they are ON time for their classes and work schedules.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I’ve been roleplaying for a little over 9 years now, I mostly focus on fantasy type roleplaying but also enjoy the more realistic settings like SRP! SRP specifically has helped me with multiple aspects of my writing, my detailing as well as proper punctuation -though I may still have run on sentences I tend to enjoy writing as in my eyes it gives more character to my current muse’s personality-
Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
I’ve adored how kind and helpful everyone in the school faculty is, watching how they interact with each other and students makes me want to of course join, and see what kind of mischief can be found. I’ve also seen the constant issues of faculty not being online when needed, so with my schedule being free as well as working from home, I figured I’d try to lessen that problem while adding more personality with my lad Soffice!

Situations
During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
Soffice looks at the student bewildered for a moment, before he clears his throat, putting his hands on the desk, fingers intertwining. “Dear that is not a very nice thing to say” He says, his eyes filled with concern. He goes on to gently yet sternly scold the student for such rudeness, insisting that words like that could hurt someone. Sofie talks with the kid a bit more, and asks them if anything was on their mind, thinking it was just an off day for them. After speaking with them about respect and kindness, he explains that another incident like this would result in a write up before showing them to class.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
Minor Injuries:
Heels clacking against the hardwood floor, Sofie immediately runs to stand in between the two, despite her short stature, she has strength to make up for it. He leads the two away from the area, tending to their injuries as he takes them to the nurse‘s office, scolding them. He radios the vice-dean, explaining the situation. Once he is sure the two are fine, he gives them both detention, scolding them sternly for their behavior.
Major injuries:
Seeing the altercation and how roughed up the two were, Sofie immediately radios security, asking for assistance, he runs in between the two, yelling for them to separate. Sofie would administer first aid, if the two were to attempt to act up, he’d separate them again. Letting security take one as he handled the other. Once the situation was handled, he wrote the two up for detention, scolding them harshly for fighting on school ground.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Shocked to see (or hear) their own co-worker being like this, he would wait until appropriate to set them aside, sternly yet professionally telling them off about their behavior. And ask if anything was on their mind to be this out of sorts during work hours. This was not appropriate for school! And it needed to be stopped quickly. If the situation were to once again continue or get out of hand, Sofie would set them aside a second time. Once more giving yet again, a stern but professional talking to. What is going on with them?? This is no way to act for faculty! If the situation were to tense or become hostile, Sofie would reluctantly report them to higher ups. He hated doing this, but to keep his fellow staff and students safe it had to be done.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
Sofie is a very kind person, making sure everyone is comfortable and has something to eat or snack on. He’d ask about everyone’s days, if they needed anything. Just generally being a caring co-worker. He’d mostly be in there to find silence while dealing with paperwork or taking a moment to collect himself after dealing with an unruly student(Or coworker) at the front desk.
Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:
Someone comes up to the desk: /me Soffice smiles as he types away at his computer, the clicking and clacking of the keyboard filling the room. The sound of fax machines and printers could be heard as he worked. Looking up he smiles “Good morning! How may I help you?” He asked, his pink curly hair bouncing as he moved. His perfume filled the air as he sat there, a bright smile on his face. While he waited for an answer he’d rise from his seat, taking just a few steps behind him to grab a small stack of pink colored papers from the printer, feeling the warmth of the freshly printed paper he felt a sense of pride being there, able to help those who needed it. Whether it be a simple task of guiding someone to a certain room or area, or offering an ear while he worked.
Scolding a student: /me Soffice looks at the student with a calm expression on his face, he clears his throat. Waiting for a response from the student for a short while before he spoke. He was not happy. “Your behavior has been completely unacceptable, I suggest you rethink your actions and start behaving before I write you up.” Soffice is calm as he speaks, but there is an underlying annoyance in his tone, signalling he was not happy to be doing this while he had work to do. He crossed his arms over his chest, the sound of clacking could be heard as he tapped his foot on the hardwood floor repeatedly. He put a hand on his hip as he continued speaking, using his hands to express how disappointed he was in the student. What on earth
were they thinking acting like this on school grounds, where they should be in class learning.
Casual working: /me As students and staff walked around the school, Soffice stayed in his little area, filing documents that needed to be kept safe, while at the same time making sure the front desk stayed nice and clean, he’d wipe off dust or leftover eraser bits. The sound of a stapler being used could be heard as he practically glided across the small room. Holding a small stack of papers, the front of it being labelled “Announcements” He’d wave to the students and teachers passing by, making casual conversation as he worked. His heels clacking against the floor with each step.

Backstory
Soffice had struggled during his early years of life, dealing with unruly people targeting him and his family due to things he could not control, he’d be on the run constantly as a child, trying to stay safe from those who wished him and his relatives harm. For a while they had found solitude in a small apartment that connected to a small diner in Venice Italy. For almost the entirety of his adolescence he’d deal with threats, anonymous letters, and even cruel gifts left upon his doorstep. Eventually he had to move, but sadly could not take his parents with, so at only 16 years old he moved across the country to Karakura Japan. Going to high school at Karakura High School, he was a bit of an outcast, not only due to his more gothic attire but due to the fact that he did not conform to the typical gender norms. Regardless he went on to become an adult, despite all his issues that he had endured throughout his life, he stayed the gentle soul he’d always been. As he grew to be an adult he searched and searched for job opportunities, but for the longest time he hadn’t even thought about the possibility of applying to the very school he’d gone to. He’d go online, filling out an application, hoping to God he’d get an interview, and when he did, he was ecstatic! Now only time would tell whether he’d be accepted or not...
Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
I’d come here to seek out a caretaker role originally, but I’d soon realized Receptionist would be better as I have a few issues regarding my back. I’d always seen the amount of work put in by receptionists from all kinds of settings, whether it be school, a business, etc. The amount of recognition they receive is not enough with what they deal with. Whether it be dealing with unruly students or coworkers being disrespectful. I’d like to lighten the load they have and give a hand, while also keeping an eye on a few friends that attend.
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
My expertise lies in more tech related thinge, I can give a hand with a multitude of technology related issues, whether it be basic knowledge or more complicated things like teaching one how to use a particular program to give additional possibilities for teachers to use for lesson planning. But I am also well knowledgeable in more emotional matters. I am experienced in handling fights, both on the receiving end of a hit and the hitting, (though I refuse to ever put a hand on a student.) I am able to stop fights with a level head, keeping peace being the most important thing in any situation. If needed I am also able to handle emotional students who may be having a hard time if a counselor is unavailable.
