Azraelis may appear as a decently happy and emotionally stable person when she's out with people. However, all the smiles and happiness she displays are nothing more than a facade. After everything that has happened and the continuous losses she's endured, Azraelis simply doesn’t have the energy to feel any real emotions. she pretends for the sake of not being a bother to others, but deep down, she doesn’t—and refuses to—feel much of anything.

ϰ.Skills & Issues.ϰ

Dislikes:

One of the things Azraelis cannot tolerate is revenge. To her, it is a corrosive force, a cycle that feeds on anger and pain and ultimately destroys everything in its path. She has seen firsthand how retaliation twists hearts, turning grief into rage, rage into more retaliation, and perpetuating a spiral of suffering that never truly ends. For Azraelis, revenge is more than just morally wrong—it is a trap that imprisons the soul. This is why she makes a deliberate effort to understand others, even those she disagrees with or harbors resentment toward. She believes that empathy and dialogue, even in the face of wrongdoing, are infinitely more powerful than hatred. She would rather extend a hand in understanding than fan the flames of vengeance, even when the weight of injustice presses heavily upon her.

Closely tied to this belief is her reverence for life. Azraelis is not naïve; she recognizes that some people can bring real harm and may deserve punishment for their actions. Yet she is deeply committed to exhausting every possible path before resorting to lethal force. Violence, in her mind, is a last resort—a tool that should only be used when every attempt at reasoning, negotiation, or protection has failed. Her moral code does not blind her to reality; it shapes how she responds to it. She is willing to act if necessary, but she carries the burden of knowing that life, once lost, cannot be restored.

Azraelis also maintains a strict personal boundary when it comes to alcohol and drugs. She does not judge those around her who choose to partake, nor does she try to control them—but for herself, she refuses completely. Her stance is not arbitrary; it is forged from painful memories of her childhood. Her parents struggled with addiction—ranging from alcohol to more destructive substances—and their behavior fueled abuse, neglect, and instability in her early years. Those experiences left scars, teaching her the harsh lesson that substances can magnify pain and chaos rather than ease it. For Azraelis, abstaining is not just a choice but a form of self-preservation, a commitment to living with clarity, discipline, and deliberate intent, refusing to let the shadows of the past dictate her present.

Flaws:
Azraelis possesses a stubborn heart, one that clings tightly to her ideals and refuses to let go once she believes in something. She is deeply committed to resolving conflict through understanding and compassion, often placing her faith in peaceful solutions even when the situation has already begun to fracture. No matter how dangerous or dire things become, she will search desperately for a way to mend what is breaking, trying to create peace even in the midst of harm. She struggles to accept that some situations cannot be talked through or healed with good intentions alone. Because of this, she often lingers too long in moments that have already turned hostile, unable to recognize when the boundary between empathy and self-preservation has been crossed. This hesitation leaves her exposed, and she is sometimes wounded—emotionally or otherwise—by conflicts she hoped to soften.
Yet within this stubbornness lies a powerful selflessness. Azraelis gives of herself freely, especially to those she cares for, often placing their well-being far above her own. Her compassion is not passive; it is deeply personal, shaping how she treats everyone close to her with patience, gentleness, and unwavering loyalty. She loves fiercely and protects tenderly, sometimes to her own detriment, pouring her energy into others even when she has little left to give herself. This combination of stubborn hope and self-sacrificing love makes her both deeply kind and tragically vulnerable, a person who would rather endure pain than allow those she cherishes to be harmed.

Disorders/Disabilities
PTSD:

At first glance, Azraelis doesn’t seem like someone haunted by the past. She carries herself with a quiet strength, and most people would never guess how heavy her history truly is. But beneath that calm exterior lives the imprint of a childhood shaped by terror and instability. She grew up surrounded by violence and death, exposed to sights that carved themselves into her memory before she was old enough to understand them. The people who should have protected her became sources of pain, and when she was finally removed from that environment, she was passed through a series of foster homes—some of which offered no refuge at all. These years taught her to stay alert, to expect danger even in moments of stillness. Though she has learned how to move forward, her body and mind have not forgotten what it took to survive, and the past still reaches out to her in moments of stress, fear, or vulnerability.

Inferiority Complex:
The roots of Azraelis’s self-doubt run deep. From a young age, she was made to feel like she was always lacking—never clever enough, never energetic enough, never quite what she was “supposed” to be. Those early judgments became internalized, shaping how she sees herself long after the people who first planted them were gone. The bullying she endured in foster care only reinforced the belief that she was lesser, that she had to earn her right to be accepted. Even as she grows stronger and more capable, a quiet voice inside her still questions her worth. This is what drives her relentless effort: she trains harder, tries harder, and holds herself to unforgiving standards, hoping that if she becomes “better,” the feeling of not being enough will finally disappear.

Nightmare Disorder:
Night brings Azraelis little comfort. When she sleeps, her mind often turns against her, pulling old fears and half-forgotten memories back to the surface. The nightmares don’t follow a pattern—some nights pass quietly, while others are filled with vivid, unsettling dreams that leave her waking in a cold sweat, her heart racing as if she never truly escaped. Because of this unpredictability, she approaches sleep with caution, sometimes delaying rest simply to avoid what might be waiting for her on the other side of consciousness. For Azraelis, sleep is not a place of safety but a fragile truce with her own memories, one that can shatter without warning and leave her carrying the weight of the past into the next day.

Skills:
Azraelis has a talent for projecting confidence, though it is often more performance than reality. Beneath the surface, she battles self-doubt and the lingering insecurities of a childhood spent feeling “less than” and constantly compared to others. Yet she has learned early on that the world responds to certainty, not hesitation. To navigate social interactions, she crafts a carefully constructed mask of poise and assurance—a mask so convincing that most people have no idea it conceals her inner uncertainty.

This skill allows her to interact with others with ease, to speak and move with a presence that commands respect, and to negotiate or defuse situations that might otherwise intimidate her. Her confidence is not just a shield; it is a tool she wields intentionally, shaping how others perceive her and subtly influencing their reactions. There is an irony in this skill: while she questions her own abilities and worth, those around her often see her as capable, composed, and unwavering.

More than just a survival tactic, Azraelis’s false confidence reflects her deeper nature. It is intertwined with her stubbornness, her selflessness, and her desire to protect those she cares about. By appearing certain and strong, she can take on burdens that others cannot, absorb pressures without showing weakness, and act as a stabilizing presence for those around her. It is a skill born of necessity, honed through years of hardship, and sustained by a quiet, unspoken understanding: sometimes, the world cannot see the pain behind the mask—but it can respond to the strength she projects, and that is enough to make a difference.

Disorders:

Azraelis has Borderline personality disorder, Disinhibited Social Engagement disorder
Chronic and Severe Depression. And ADD. ( Inattentive )
