Describe your activity on SchoolRP:
I've been consistently online, hanging out with my friends on SchoolRP every day for more than 4 hours. I love going shopping in Karakura, exploring different shops, and spending money on myself and my friends, buying food, accessories, and furniture. I also spend quite a lot of time fishing and flipping items in auctions to make money. I enjoy being romantic, spending time with my SRP family members, and occasionally participating in a bit of GangRP (on a completely unrelated character of course).
Describe your roleplay experience with SchoolRP and other roleplay networks in general:
I first joined the server back in 2018, just hanging out and having fun with friends. However, back then, the server was very limited. Houses didn't exist, roleplay was casual, laws and structured interactions weren't really a thing, and eventually, I took a long break. I returned in 2023 when SchoolRP significantly improved, featuring more cosmetics, ranks, benefits, and immersive roleplay. The atmosphere in Karakura had become much more serious and engaging. I played actively for about two months in 2023 before pausing again due to schoolwork and exams. Now, in 2025, I've returned to SchoolRP to find the server drastically improved and almost unrecognizable from before, and I've been consistently active every day.
What are your current roles on SchoolRP?

[Grade-12] Rin Miyase

What is the subject you want to teach?:
I want to teach Math Economics and Economic Modeling with Game Theory
TRIVIA SECTION
What is your motivation for becoming a professor?:
At first I just want to make some good money, and seeing there are some slots open in the Professor Roster, I decided I just check out how to sign up to become professor. Then, after reading through the reviewed professor application, I have the urge to try to find something interesting to teach to college students that cannot, or had not been taught before, but still has to be interactive and fun for everyone, because I wanna make college a fun and worthwhile experience for people who finished their highschool and jump to college. Looking through the roster, I realized that Math and Economics are open, because let's face the truth here: not everyone's a fan of math and economics in the real world, where calculation are needed to be done with thorough theoretical and practical situation, and it requires a lot of experience in this field. But I think it is more fun to make it linear, like how can someone make money in Karakura short term and long term, what is a good investment, and apply real life practical dilemma into roleplay scenario and situation.
Work out two interactive classes you will host if accepted:
1. Students are given 3 note of item and its price, and Rui announces that everyone has exactly 100000 yen. In the note is different item, price, For example, a burger is 6500 yen, a hairpin is 45000 yen, clothes is 55000 yen, so on and so on. Each note has a completely different item. The students' job is to go around, buying and selling item, taking note in their transaction book about what they bought for how much, calculate how much they spent comparing to the real price they bought it, how much money left they have, and submit to Rui at the end of the class. The student who got the highest amount of money will be rewarded a sticker.
2. Students will be hosting a Shark Tank in class. Depend on the size of the class, each students will be receiving 1-2 notebook. In each notebook, student draft out an idea of what they want to sell to Rui. They will have to convince Rui that the item is worth purchasing, and demand Rui an amount. They and her will be going back and forth to get a price, and whoever convince Rui to pay the most will be rewarded a sticker.
Work out a field trip (meaning a class outside school grounds) you will host if accepted:
I would love to invite them to shopping district and check out different stores. However, the only way for this to work is either I contact the owner of the store, or the field trip has to be outside of school time. I want students to go in the shop, look around, take notes of how much the item worth and try to think of how much profit they can earn. I want my students to learn how to flip item from stores to auction and make some money passively.
SCENARIO SECTION
Your character would encounter a group of college jocks surrounding a bobcat jock, what would your character do?
She would radio in for other available staffs, to let them know the situation happen. Then, she would approach them and check out the situation, because it could be a weird hang out of college jocks and a single bobcat jock (sounds weird but it definitely possible, and she would think of all situation that it could be, before intervening directly). Of course, if it's violence, she would instantly intervene and stop all of them, warn the college jocks that she will call the SLT to intervene, and if needed, sending them to detention and issue the problem to the dean and other staff about the situation. Rui would be able to pay attention to the mental/emotional states of the students, making sure that everything is fine between them, and after the situation calm down, she would try to check in with any students who seem distressed and offer support if needed. It is also important for her to remind the college jocks about the school's policies on respect, and make sure they need to understand the consequences of their action if they did wrong.
Your character would be supervising detention, one of the students constantly disturbs by asking stupid questions, what would your character do?
She would tell them to finish the detention tasks as soon as possible instead of asking stupid questions, because they're wasting their time while still need to do their detention work. If they still decide to disturb the others by either still asking stupid questions, or distracts the others while not continue to do their detention assignment, she will warn them, letting them know that she will get SLT involved if they continue their behaviour. If they have some issues, they need to speak up outside of this time, not during detention when they are rightfully punished for what they have done. Because if they are good students in their heart, they would quietly do their work until everything's done, and tell her whats wrong later on.
Your character would be hosting a class, and a group of cheerleaders keeps on playing songs on the phone and calling out other students in the class, what would your character do?
The first time it happened, it would just simply be a warning directly to that group of cheerleaders (assuming there will be more than one person playing songs/ calling out other students in the class). After that, if it happens again for the second time, she would threaten to give them detention if it happens again, since there is a group of students who decided to distract the others in her class, and she would not tolerate this behaviour coming from people who got into the cheerleading group just to annoy the other in her class in the first place. If it happens again for the third time, she will issue the detention slips to the group involving in this behaviour. Afterward, once the situation is under control, she would make sure that students know the classroom rules regarding respectful behaviour, since everyone in class deserve a distraction-free learning environment, and disruption to class would lead to consequences/
Your character would be walking on the school perimeter and encounter a fight between a couple of students, your character tried to break it up but it didn't help, what would your character do?
Before anything happens, if she saw a couple students get into a fight, she would intervene instantly while radio-ing in the staffs. If the students are not stopping, not complying, and if she's unable to further intervene, she would threaten to call in the SLT, and warn them that this can lead them to suspension and even expulsion. And if that still does not stop them, she will call in SLT and wait for them to come over, while keeping the students away from each other. She will not get violence, but if fists are swinging and legs are kicking, she will attempt to stop them. She can handle taking some hits for the students if worse comes to worse. She will note down anyone who run away from the situation and afterward, she will take the students who are injured to the nursing room, and write down a report of what happened and send to the SLT to prevent another situation happen in the future.
CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Tell us everything you know about the character you will be playing in a few paragraphs. What does they look like? What makes them unique and different? What is their outlook on Students? What about the other teachers? What is their personality like? What is their plan for the future?

Rui Hoshikawa - she has striking red-purple eyes and long black hair, usually tied in a side ponytail. At school, she wears a simple office suit with a trench coat that matches her professional demeanor. Outside of work, she prefers her favorite hoodie and a pair of Nirmala shades, which give her a more approachable, laid-back vibe.

She is approachable but assertive. She believes that all students are capable of brilliance, even if they're unable to see it themselves, as long as they continue to work hard, think critically, solve problems smartly, and understand the consequences behind their actions.
To her fellow teachers, she's cooperative but firm. She does value professionalism and consistency, but is not afraid to call out lazy or irresponsibility. She would not tolerate her co-workers behaving poorly, as they are supposed to be the stars that children and students supposed to look at and want to become.
In the future, Rui wants to simply live to help the others. She wants to continue teaching students through real-life quests, in order to survive in this world with just their brain. She wants to see a generation of students who never say "I'm broke", because they will always be able to make something out of nothing. That's all she wants for the future: turning the children of Karakura into people who can survive, and thrive in the real world.
Describe how your character ended up becoming a teacher and their previous life. It is optional to include earlier life but recommended.
Make sure this is over 100 words.
Rui Hoshikawa was born in the suburbs of Japan, where she grew up as the eldest of the three siblings in a modest Christian household. Her father ran a small local electronic shop, and her mother was a librarian. From a young age, she showed a fascination with patterns, puzzles and numbers. While other kids were playing house and video games, she always spent her afternoon flipping through business sections of newspapers, often thought about questions that kids never asked - 'Why do item prices keep going up while the demand of the item is staying the same?', 'Why do companies go bankrupt, even though the idea and innovation behind the team that runs the company can be seen as amazing?'
Her academic path was then set in motion during high school, as the president of the student council of a public school in the same suburb she grew up in, Rui created a simulated stock exchange as part of the school economics fair. She basically hosted a schoolwide monopoly game with different events happening at the school, and it went viral how even high schoolers and college students decided to join in, and some teachers were shocked to see how everyone get in separate groups and either try to get rich, or manipulate the market to make their own stock skyrocketed (and then cry after it backfired and they gone broke). This convinced Rui that there are ways to make people be interested in world economics and math, without delving into the theoretical side of the equation.
Rui graduated top of her class and pursued Bachelor's in Economics, followed by a Master in Mathematical Economics from the University of Tokyo. She loves working with project teams that linked economics with real-world decision making - urban planning, or gacha game monetization models. She found herself unfulfilled even when she got paid well, and in 2019, Rui left the corporate world and began teaching at a technical college in Osaka.
Her students were uninterested and underprepared, but she made them got hooked in by dragging real life situation into simple tasks. For example, 'Would you take a student loan to start a bakery, or work part-time and delay graduation?', 'Is it worth spending money on clothings or making clothes ourselves?', 'Can you survive on fishing alone?'. Her class even though were not as popular as other future-proof class such as Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, but her students were always taken care of, and took interest in her lecture. It does make her happy, sharing what she has been taught and learnt in a more fun and interactive classes.
Now 34, Rui moves to Karakura because of her family situation, and is now applying to become a full-time professor, not as a job, but as a calling. She's still single, lives in a cozy apartment in Karakura, and spends her weekends with friends, playing Poker, going to bar, and doing some researches on her own.
