And only Gwaynes for now.
Do you have Discord (If so, what is your discord username?):

How old are you? (Optional):
I'm 20 years old, so an SRP "unc"
What is your time zone?:

(Pacific Daylight Time/Mountain Standard time depending on season.)
Describe your activity on the server:
I just recently returned to SRP and intend to be just as active as I was prior. I have sincerely missed the interactions possible within the server's day-to-day and want to return to the regularly scheduled Gwayne appearances. I'm not in any factions at the moment and have almost entirely withdrawn from CrimeRP except for Karakura Autos, which I will be keeping active in ASAP as well. Aside from this, I work for two shops and one verified business, the latter of which recently introduced a quota system. I logged on just the day before submitting this app to make my rounds for a few hours before retiring for the night. So, expect an increase in my activity from just a few hours to significantly more.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
Of course, I fully understand and have no qualms with the activity system. I've always been personally bothered when people get a role and then decline in activity when others would die to be in their position and intend to keep up with, or even excel in, their chosen activity.
If allowed, I'd love to be that person.

Shop Information
/*You may add your own questions to the format*/
What shop are you applying for?:
I'm applying for Joyoung, a Gift & Accessory shop!
Why do you want to become a Shopkeeper?:
I don't know how to properly phrase what I intend to say here, so please bear with me as I attempt.
I've been playing SRP for a long time, longer than I honestly should have. Since I was in early Junior High, to now, being 2 years into my college degree. It's become a core memory to me, with all honesty, I've made hundreds of friends and had thousands of unique experiences, even out of character, thanks to them all. I mean, even my return to SRP was influenced by them, as soon as I went "off-grid," I got DMs from so many people I hadn't considered. It made me feel extremely loved and welcomed, even in such a place where acting is the usual. So above all else, I'd like to become a shopkeeper to continue these experiences and be around for all those who missed me during my absence. Sure, I can do that without the shopkeeper tag, and I intend to regardless. But the experiences of a Shopkeeper are unique.
I always intended to have my main character retire and do something with his life other than crime. I considered what, for hours and days, never quite putting my finger down onto the keyboard to decide. So, when I saw this almost immediately open up after I got back, I felt like I had no other choice; it practically had an arrow pointing at it. It would be nice to have something to do, to give people the experiences and fun I've had working for other shops like Tsuki-No-Umi and Seikatsu, where I'm a manager after a year of working there. If I could give back to the community who have given me such joy, then I'd absolutely do anything I could.
I never really thought I'd see myself applying to something like this, at least years ago. But now, after being so accustomed to the shop panel, it's absolutely piqued my interest beyond description. I used to watch the life out of Bleach, and I remembered that I loved Kisuke Urahara, the laid-back man who runs his own little store, though not the same genre of store, of course. And I realized I've always adored the shopkeep characters in media, Gintoki, Urahara, even the cabbage guy from ATLA. So when I find myself asking the question, "what next?"
I find myself here.
What do you plan to do with your shop, and what makes it unique?:
ᯓ Obviously, first on the to-do list is a name change. I can't just keep it as Joyoung. So I found myself settling on the name Kettu, or rather, that's what's currently in the workshop for it!
Joyound -> Kettu
ᯓ Why Kettu?:
I've found that a majority of shops in the district are Japanese names, which of course makes sense. It is Japan. But very few consider a potential story behind it, at least to my knowledge. The character I'd be using to found this little shop is originally from Finland. The name Kettu, meaning 'Fox' in Finnish, allows him to pay homage to the culture of where he's living, since foxes are integral to Japan's folklore and religions. And at the same time, put a homey spin on it by using his native tongue. Not to mention, he has red hair. Not to mention, foxes are closely related to Inari Okami, the god of rice, prosperity, and business. So of course, it fits!
ᯓ What of the exterior?:
Of course, all the exteriors are unique and customized to the look or vibe of the overall shop. I want to introduce the shop as one of those homey backcountry stores like the ones mentioned before, Kisuke Urahara's store, or similar. With a slight blend of Finnish architecture. A comfortable building for people to relax in, even when the shop isn't busy, with seating areas, places to take photos with their new gifts, and anything that gives them the feeling of home. Wherever they may be.
ᯓ Uniforms?:
Depending on where the employee is stationed, their uniform may be themed differently. For example, it could be a cute apron near sections that sell stuffed animals. Or, it could be something more victorian even in areas that sell old-timey items.
ᯓ What's unique?:
Aside from the obvious facts about the store's reasoning and why I'd like it, I have a few small ideas to improve it.
Any store besides restaurants rarely has live music or interactive events, so I'd like to hire those in businesses that offer Idols, or the likes, the opportunity to provide entertainment during openings. But it's a gift shop? Exactly! People take the music they hear in the background of stores for granted, which makes people want to stay and keeps their attention. So I want to one-up that with live music! And in the case that's not available, optional W2G with music playlists for people to listen to if they'd like, tailored to their likes and genres
.
I also want to become more inclusive with the employees, host events for them to enjoy, so it's not just money and work. For example, fishing trips or camping outside of the store! Bonuses for employees based on their attendance and sales to create a healthy, competitive work environment.
Employee suggestions
Training days for anyone who needs a refresher or is new, complete with questions on how to better be of service to any customers.
And overall care! Parents may come in and leave their kids in a designated area with the entertainers who will keep them busy while they're shopping. The employees working in this area are those who excel in attitude and performance, often times putting on stage performances or historical reenactments to keep customers happy and the environment fun.
What will you sell in your shop?:
It's a bit more difficult as I don't know how these things work fully. I've been told you get the stock of the previous shop and some starting items, but I don't know what those items would be.
For the majority, we would sell plushies, flowers, or anything that can be considered a gift. I have two customs that I'd like to sell, one an eyepatch and the other a plushie. And I intend to buy more customs.
How many employees do you plan to have?:
As this isn't a restaurant or anything as such, I'm in a position to offer more creative alternatives.
ᯓOwner (1/1)
The owner, clearly not a spot that can be left unfilled, would route to me. I'd be responsible for overseeing all the things that fall under the umbrella of my shop and directly hiring anyone interested. Available for conferences, business opportunities, and promotions. A good portion of my time would be dedicated to filling in for any positions not yet taken up, answering any customer questions, and handling any disputes that may happen over product, employees, or beyond.
ᯓCo-Owner (0/1)
The Co-owner is responsible for picking up any slack i may leave, filling in for me when I'm busy if available, and checking the stock to ensure all products are available, making a list of anything that needs to be restocked once every other week.
ᯓManagers (0/2)
This one goes without saying, they perform on-floor jobs just like their employees and assist the Co-owner and Owner in situations where it's needed. They can handle any shop operations without either of the former there and excel at it. These are employees who have proven themselves and gone above and beyond to represent this store.
ᯓCashiers (0/15)
The most important job, those who manage the face-to-face sales.
ᯓProduct Advertiser/Mascot (0/3)
Employees who have the potential to become Managers but cannot due to spots being filled or are there temporarily. They're responsible for answering any questions about what items look like, showing them off properly, and looking nice and presentable for anyone coming in.
ᯓPerformers/Entertainers (0/4)
Those whose job is to play live music and perform any shows or events that may happen, even stage performances similar to actors.
ᯓSecurity (0/10)
The Hulk. Our brute force team has ten billion percent power when it comes to removing anyone harming the shop, the environment, other customers, or causing concern. They're properly trained in handling these situations with the least force possible so that KPD can do their job without us being the ones going to court.

ᯓ IC section:
Full legal name:
Gwayne Aiuchi-Togomi
Work experience:
"I worked at Seikatsu and Tsuki-no-umi for quite a while. I've recently had a falling out with the current owner of Seikatsu, but for something unrelated to my work ethics. I've consistently been a top performer at both, Seikatsu more so, though. I've got roughly 5 million in sales from a few months alone, without even including the years I've loyally worked there. I model part-time for Hoshino Productions and work there as an Idol as well, so entertainment is my thing. At least my nieces will agree.."
Marital Status:
"Ahhhh! currently I'm engaged to Skylar Tsu. I think she was a club owner, yeah? I'm very happy with her, significantly more than I have been with prior relationships and endeavors.. Don't judge a man for being divorced multiple times. I try hard to be good!"
Education:
"As shocked as my family will be, I actually graduated high school and College with a Major in Business and Administrative Systems. And I'm thinking about continuing my education to redirect myself just in case this doesn't work out.. Which it will! I'm a pro worker, I'm a pro pro."
Languages:
Finnish/Jsl/Japanese (duhhhh)
Any personal comments?:
"Ah, well, I'm actually in the middle of turning my life around; it's been a pretty rocky road for me, and I've... made some mistakes in the past that I can't ever make up for. To my brothers, I'm eternally sorry. And I want to do everything I can to be a proper husband for my Fiance once we marry, a proper father once I have kids, and a memorable Uncle to my nieces and nephews, who I'd give the world for and have a million times. I'm desperate for any opportunity to make myself someone worth the love I've been given, despite who I am. I mean you can even see it in my appearance.. Not exactly a lovable teddy bear to kids, and that breaks my heart. So the opportunity to turn that fear and avoidance into a positive image so that I don't hurt anyone again means everything to me."
Additional notes about your application:
Do you have any questions?:
How does stock work? I understand how to receive and order it, but I don't know what Items I can sell that aren't my own or others' customs.
