I am new to server but I have heard of people tell about their lag spikes from resource pack. The trees/leaves texture makes the fps go way down. The texture of the leaves are clustered so much, the detail makes rendering kinda rough. It would be way helpful if the textures of leaves and trees...

when i join the game, it says its loading the pack and stops at like 20% and it says in the bottom corner to get optifine, so i got it in 1.13.2 and 1.14 and it still wont work, i changed the ram on my versions to 4 instead of 2, i've cleared my resource pack file as well, dont know what to do...
