Describe your activity on the server:
As of now, I am a shopkeeper on my main account, pvchiekisq, and spend roughly 30 minutes to an hour opening my shop on Tuesdays and Thursdays (or I try to anyway) so that leaves most of the day for me to dilly dally however I choose, and most of the time, as of late, I’ve simply been logging off since I’ve had no other reason to stay on, my roleplay game has been lacking, having no one to really roleplay with because sadly I am kinda #awkward, but I am hoping to change that. Eventually… As for the other days, I’m not typically on unless prompted, so honestly, I have a little room for improvement on this end, but it’s an improvement I’m willing to make happen!
As for notpvcpipe, that one isn’t as active, I’ve just not got it back and played it after giving it to someone else for some time, though now it is fully back in my possession, but I know this account should be active as well, so I will be working on that with what little time I have left before these applications are checked!
Little note:
It’s hard to tell since I’m not always sure which position I will be at work, my position is definitely not consistent (between Food and Bartender which have different hours). Some days I may be home sooner, or I may be home later, but most days, these are the hours I’m off of work and available.

Some of these are VERY old, and one or two of the older ones that are just.. God awful aren't on the list (2019 was a year), but these are the majority, and most of them just go back two to three years ago, so more recent and better!
What position are you applying for (Maiden or Priest)?
I will be applying for Maiden!
What is your motivation for applying?
Reason #1: The Changes!
I have been in the Shrine faction before a couple years ago, and honestly, I really enjoyed my time there in the faction, though I imagine it’s quite different now with all the changes, with more ways to interact with not only the shrine grounds, but with guests as well with more rituals and ceremonies but that just makes it even more exciting to try again! Applying has been sitting on my mind with each passing wave of announcements, being something I’ve been wanting to get back into for some time now, but never really bouncing at the opportunity until now!
Reason #2: The Culture Inside SRP.
Shintoism is a fascinating and beautiful religion both inside and outside of SchoolRP, but I believe it is something that is executed well on the server, mentioning the rituals and ceremonies again, it’s one of the things that brings a sorta realness into a game of blocks, and I’m sure it’s something most everyone will appreciate, and something I want to show appreciation to by contributing something of my own!
Reason #3: My Time.
Although I do work full time now, I still have time I would like to dedicate to SRP once more, and I thought no other faction would be better than the Shrine Faction, one, it was very enjoyable to be in, and it’s something I could mentally handle on top of everything.
What do you currently know about Shintoism? Are you willing to learn more about it?
My knowledge is limited since the last time I’ve interacted or studied Shintoism would be a couple years ago when I was in shrine and then the few youtube videos I slammed, but from what I remember:
Kami:
The gods/deities Shintoism follow or worship, beings born before the earth had formed, representing what the world is made of, such as the mountains, clouds, wind, stone, volcanos, trees, dirt, and many many more with many different names for each of them, most being born from one of the original Kami formed between Heaven and the earth.
Shrine Grounds:
Upkeep of the shrine grounds! Cleaning the tea house, watering the plants, giving an offering, and especially providing for the shrine guests, making sure they are greeted and taken care of, providing tea if they wish, or giving them a card reading. With the shrine grounds, Maidens and priests are required to stay on the shrine grounds, having living quarters on the grounds.
Respects:
Showing respect around the grounds, and of course off grounds, but bowing at the torii gates as you walk up the mountain, and any torii you may see on the grounds, washing your hands and mouth before stepping onto the shrine grounds, walking on the side of the paths since the middle is for the Kami.
Weddings:
The shrine has the ability to host weddings at various locations, probably out of order, it’s following steps along these lines:
Following rituals ringing their suzu, the couple taking sips of sake from each other's cup, clapping once, then twice, then once again, probably a couple things I'm missing before they share their vows, kiss and become newly weds!
Festivals:
During festivals Maidens perform a dance/performance called the Mikomai? I don’t remember if that’s actually what it’s called, but it's a dance to honor the gods and instruments, using fans and suzus… Or maybe I’m actually all wrong.
Tarot Card Reading:
A new thing I’m not familiar with is the card readings the shrine now provides, although I know very little about it, I know it’s provided.
Ema:
The shrine offers Ema’s and for guests to put up their requests, typically wishes or blessings for themselves or others, which are kept on the Ema board, but this is something the shrine offers as well.
School Interns:
Students are allowed to intern at the Shrine to learn about what it takes to be a Maiden or Priest, they learn about the religion, ask questions, study, and likely act as training Maidens or Priests as well before stepping out into the field as the real deal.
Of course, I am more than willing to learn anything more that I don’t remember or know about!

A young lady offered a bow before moving to sit down, tucking the fabric of the back of her pants against her skin, patting her shirt down, and finally moving to puff up the end of her short hair for it to be just a littlleee more fluffier, before she finally settled and spoke. Perhaps a little nervous, just a little.
“Hello! It’s nice to meet you, my name is Tsuki Zoju-Shinozaki, a familiar name, perhaps, as my two other siblings might be around here as well.”
[!]
She looked around as if there was a possibility they would be able to see the siblings, before snapping back to face the person she was speaking to. Oops.
Character Title:
[!]
Lightly, she tapped her cheek in thought, it kinda squished, baby fat? At her age? No, it can’t be. Just cute as a button!
“Well, I don’t think I have a title, so you are free to call me however you wish! Tsuki is fine, our last name is rather long.”
Character Age:
“I am 21 as of.. April 8th! Barely hitting the mark to apply here, but I figured I’d skip instead of walk.. Have to get places somehow!”
[!]
She spoke chipperly, the big ol’ 21, how exciting!
Character Marital Status:
[!]
A small smile cracked at the question, perhaps a little more sad than it should be, but she’ll get over this overwhelming amount of despair from being single as a pringle.
“Just Ms. I am not married nor am I seeing anyone.”
“... Sadly.”
Character Nationality:
“I am Japanese! Born and raised in Gokayama.”
[!]
A rather fond look crossed her eyes, perhaps she hasn’t been home in a while..
Degree/Certifications (If applicable):
[!]
Suddenly, she looked nervous again.. Was her answer going to make her lose points? Were there points? She didn’t know. Internally wiping the sweat off her brow, she answered.
“I.. Actually don’t have a degree, I took the chance to travel after I graduated highschool.. But being a Maiden doesn’t require a degree.. Right?”
Backstory
Chapter One: Six Little Hands.
A story that began with three separate cries, three different tiny bodies, the world held right in the young mother’s arms.
Triplets born of the same mother, a birth that saw the sun, the moon, and the stars, a birthing process that began in evening while the sun still shined rays over the dark horizon, passing later into the later evening, where the stars first appeared, sprinkling the sky that just turned a dark blue, till finally the moon shined it’s own light over the night, bless that poor soul, thus was born Taiyo, Amaya, and Tsuki Zoju-Shinozaki.
Although they were not born in that order, going out of cycle, Tsuki is the first born, the moon, and the main character of tonight’s story, though, only by a few minutes, following behind was Taiyo, the sun, then a few minutes later, Amaya, the stars, the youngest out of the three!
As romantic as their names are, these babies were definitely a handful, as one would assume three babies would be, one crying, another crying, another unable to stay still, and eventually crying too! Such a nightmare, but, eventually, things quiet down, the babies grow tired after their long long day of.. Well, being babies! Of course, the easiest out of the three is always the oldest, maybe not the best, but.. The best out of the three of them, for sure!
Chapter Two: Traveling Master.
Enough about the shared story, this chapter will be all about Tsuki, jolly!
Most would try and attend collage, go to universities out of state, to Hawaii or France, but with no scholarships, not much money, and a desire to view these sights different ways, after graduating high school, picking up an online job she managed to snag, she bid her small town in the Japanese Alps to hit the roads of the world, and for some reason they all lead to Rome?
First, she flew to America, seeing states from Wyoming to North Carolina, seeing wild horses and bison, climbing mountains, though winded, who said hiking was a good idea, to seeing the beaches in Hawaii and Washington, seeing whatever she could see comfortably within a years time. Despite the language barriers, she had some of the best and most memorable times of her life.
[!]
30 pictures were sent to the family group chat with a text that followed that read:
“HEY GUYS! Miss you guys so much, but I got you guys LOADS of stuff, this is your daily check in that I’m alive <3”
Will her trip to Europe change that? Maybe! Hitting another plane, she flew across another ocean, landing in Spain, hitting various spots, France, following the road that actually led to Rome, Germany and Sweden, not sure she dared to go to Russia just yet, but she did travel to more Asian countries, hitting China and South Korea, her travels in Europe and Asia lasted yet another year and a half, how she did all this while working is just a wonder, but she did it, and enjoyed every single bit of it! Collecting souvenirs, new clothes, magnets, plushies, gifts for her siblings and parents, learning bits and pieces of the different languages during her stays, learning about religion,
But nothing beat home, so, another plane she took, back to Japan.
Chapter Three: Shrines and Religion.
Finally coming home to her home country, she traveled to places in Japan she’s never been before, and moving around Japan, not to her surprise, there was many shrines, to many gods, many festivals, Tsuki found them beautiful, an unworldly feeling stepping into a temple or shrine, not having.. Any like the big shrines and temples in Gokayama, so seeing them in the bigger cities, like Tokyo, and even the smaller towns in which she found by accident, Karakura.
Shintoism was always something she heard in the back corner of her world, the back of her mind, mainly whenever she was with her grandparents, but she wasn’t there as often as her brother, Taiyo, so she never claimed to follow Shintoism, religion not being something on her mind, not one of her main focuses but like many others, she did do some of the basic practices even until now, but seeing these magnificent things, seeing the wonders of the world for herself, small gears beginning to turn, small changes in her beliefs, in questioning whether her grandparents were really right all along. Seeing the Ise Grand Shrine made her step across the final stone, she was invested, interested in this beautiful place, this religion, a lightbulb, a realization, a new purpose.
And so, she found herself back in Japan, a town with charm that fit not only her, but her siblings as well, as the package of triplets now found this place their home, and that leads unto now.

CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE / SITUATIONS
How does your character act around shrine grounds? How do they interact with guests and other staff?
[!]
Singing fell from her mouth while she prepared to make some guests some tea, and to be honest, it was like a dying animal, it wasn’t too good.. Someone will tell her that one day, but for now, she’s singing! She certainly wasn’t quiet.
“California girls, they’re unforgettable! Daisy Dukes, bikinis on top!’
[!]
Someone tell her to shut up before it keeps going..

“Hello, welcome to the Monastery!! So happy to see you here on this fine.. Day! Please let me know if you need anything? Tea? Card reading? I can do it all!”
[!]
She bowed nearly a 50 degree angle, almost, before springing right back up with a smile.

[!]
Beep beep beep.. It seems her alarm is going off.. Beep beep beep.. SNOOZE! A few minutes later, something felt off, even in her sleep.. Uh oh. Her eyes shot open, her body springing out of bed, her clothes magically finding them on her body like a magic girl, she woke up late! Finally making it out of her room, she gasped for air as she apologized.
“I’m sooo sorry! I so overslept, it won’t happen again, everyone!”
[!]
She bowed to everyone like a million times before scratching her cheek out of embarrassment.
° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° °
•··········•··········•
She is very spirited, very lively, curious by nature and welcoming, perhaps a little on the louder side, but none the less, she always approaches things with a smile, wheither that be greeting guests, serving tea, interacting with other staff, or even telling off guests for jumping on roofs or being loud.
You see a guest jumping around the roofs of the building and overall disrespecting shrine grounds, how would your character handle it?
[!]
First, her intrusive thought gears would turn.. Almost, well, not almost, just a sliver of a thought to join them, BUT, alas, she would never do that, so instead, she took a deep breath, and called out a good ol;
“Get down from there please! You’re going to get hurt!”
[!]
And if they don’t listen.. Uh, maybe she gets someone else, or perhaps she calls the police, or gets more stern, pulling out her inner mother.
“Get down there right now, or police will get called.”
[!]
Will police actually get called..? Probably not, but that typically works.. Right?
° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° °
•··········•··········•
Despite how fun it might look, she'd absolutely tell them to get off one way or another
Why does your character want to become a shrine maiden/priest? What do they wish to achieve?
[!]
Very lightly, her eyes lit up at the question, like a good memory showed itself, or perhaps it was simple interest guiding this response.
“Quite honestly, at first, it wasn’t the Kami or anything else, it was the beauty of the shrines and temples that truly led me to my decision to follow this religion, this belief. During my long travels, I’ve ended my journey in the Ise Grand Temple, the biggest Shinto temple in Japan, and if that shrine could be as magnificent and gorgeous as the religion, why wouldn’t I be interested!”
[!]
A small pause.. Was she yapping? Eh, whatever.
“And then, I actually paid attention to the rest of the stuff, like the Kami! I want to continue seeing the beauty of the religion, of the shrine you have here in Karakura, I want to learn all that I can.”
"And don't get me started on the yearly fesivals, again, its just so beautiful, why would I not want to be there working and helping around?"
[!]
She finally ended with a strong nod!
What are the core values of your character? (OPTIONAL - MORE INFO IN FAQ)
[!]
Quietly, to start, she started counting with her fingers, one, two, three four, five.. Six… eight.
“The top of my list definitely begins with courage. I believe you can’t get anywhere without facing certain fears, without jumping out of that comfort zone. I never would have went out and traveled the world, left everything behind if it wasn’t for this, because I was most definitely scared, but it led me here! I think that’s pretty worth it.”
“The next would probably be discipline, without it, you can fall into nasty habits, falling in the wrong crowd, eating the wrong foods, not knowing when to quit, it’s very important that they can control and take care of themselves.”
“I guess another one would be beauty. I find beauty in all things, I like to think, and it’s important to me to continue to see the world and it’s residence that way, every animal and human alike, to see them in their true beauty, all the art in the world, to keep appreciating it everyday.”
“Curiosity, perhaps. Every creature is curious, we want to learn, we want to watch, it’s natural, and it’s very important that we don’t lose that, it’s what keeps humanity moving forward, the questions!”
“Empathy, most definitely, understanding each others feelings, although it can be challenging, it’s important that we at least try, to grow that connection.”
“Oh! Family has to be one, my family means everything to me, my siblings, parents, and even friends close enough to basically be family, they’re such key pillars in someones life, it’s good to try and care for those relationships.”
“Health is up there, it’s so important, and I know I said that every time, but these are all important to me, it’s what keeps us alive, both mentally and physically. Go on those walks, eat that ice cream as a little sweet treat, jog, run hike, sleep, eat, spend time to yourself, be kind to yourself.”
“Happiness, I value happiness the most on top of everything, I lies about courage, happiness is most definitely on top.. I want the whole world to be spread with joy, with love, with that warmth, it’s such a big sign if a good life, being happy.”
[!]
And finally, she finished, a smile resting neatly across her lips, her hands patting down her shirt, her hands lifting to fluff up her hair just a little once again before standing, and bowing.

You see a guest jumping around the roofs of the building and overall disrespecting shrine grounds, how would your character handle it?
[!]
First, her intrusive thought gears would turn.. Almost, well, not almost, just a sliver of a thought to join them, BUT, alas, she would never do that, so instead, she took a deep breath, and called out a good ol;
Right?
