I try to stay pretty active on the server, but I do have school plus a job on top of it! My schedule and what I do on those said days will be down below! With my activity on the server mattering on the days or hours I will at least try to be on for 3-5 hours a day or sometimes less, as I do have a filled up schedule.

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:

I’ve played SRP in the past and played from 2020? 2021 up until 2023, which has given me about 2-3 years of at least roleplay experiences on SRP. Outside of that I tended to be on a lot of roleplay servers when I was younger and I had also built up many situations that would be acted out, meaning as in texts or speeches or small things on the side for fun.

When I played on SRP in the past I was involved with a lot of roleplay situations, dealing with crimeRP, fearRP, and so on. As I am coming back to SRP of course I have to pick up on a lot of things I’ve missed, or simple things that I have forgotten about. I do feel as if I still remember how most things worked or just how to mess around with detailrp and so on.





What is your motivation for applying?

I used to love the EMS faction in the past and had many friends who enjoyed the faction, of course word passes around more than anything but when I used to play SRP back then the faction was very lively and I do still believe that it is. I do see how much things have changed in the faction as applications changed, different positions in the faction are now here or more changed around. Of course many things have changed and there’s possibly more rules more action that is put into the EMS faction which yes, I will need to learn about if I were to be accepted but learning is something that I do enjoy to do

I will say I miss being a part of something and as someone who is trying to get back into SRP it is a bit hard, as most people will not interact with you or just small things that just push back roleplaying or anything. So, I would like to be in a faction that can line me back into how SRP used to be or just simply being a part of something again.

What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?


(This is to gauge at your current understanding of the faction prior to acceptance)

Hospital Director

The Hospital Director is as I would say the “power machine” within the hospital faction, they make sure everything is tracked correctly, things are up to date, quotas are being reached, there are records being kept, and so on. Without them the hospital would not be running properly, meaning medicines, therapies, surgeries and so on would not be processed correctly or kept up to date.


Clinical Lead


The lead of certain departments, each department has at least ONE clinical lead. They are responsible for that said department, making sure the department is reaching the needed quota. They are almost on the same level of the director but do not have the same amount of charge of the hospital as the director does. They both keep responsibility over the hospital.


Doctors


Doctors are one of the biggest factors in the hospital faction, not because they’re better than anyone else, simply because they are the ones who come first as they do check ups, they do exams, tests and so on, they also can do surgeries and diagnostics! They also are in charge of reporting any deaths, births, and illnesses.


Paramedic


Paramedics mostly focus on the outside work of the field, they’re the ones who answer calls and go out to resolve the situation, they are able to respond to most calls and give aid. They have limitations of what they can do while they are out responding to a call. Obviously they cannot do surgeries or anything of such that is a large operation out on a call, as they have limited resources.


Psychiatrist

Psychiatrists are responsible for diagnosing the mental health of any patient that comes in, meaning they need to know the medications for said mental illness. They also focus on therapies, as they are basically described as a “the******” when they are more focused on prescribing medications.

Character Backstory (Optional):

Gisela Neumann was born in Monschau, Germany. She lived there with her mother, Mila Neumann, her father, Alfons Neumann, and her little sister, Anneliese Neumann. Gisela's father was once enrolled in the army, which caused him to have severe PTSD and anxiety, while he lost his left leg on top of that.


Gisela grew up carrying the weight of her father’s past on her shoulders, as she witnessed the physical and mental damage it caused.


After the loss of his leg, Alfons was discharged from the army, and Gisela's entire family moved from Monschau to Hermann, Missouri in hopes of a calmer and safer life. She lived there from ages 10-19. During this time, she witnessed her dad struggle from the trauma he endured, before he began therapy with a specialist. From that point forward, he began his slow recovery. He started to feel like Gisela's dad again instead of a shell of the person he once was. The impact this had on Gisela was huge. Before her father got help, her grades were slipping and she was struggling. She began to stop caring about school, or much of anything. After seeing her dad recover, she couldn't help but feel inspired. She felt so grateful for her father’s psychiatrist that she felt that she was meant to do something similar, for. Her grades started to gradually improve as she put her all into school. She spent most of her time studying or hunting. She ended up graduating from high school with perfect grades.

After she graduated high school in Missouri, she decided to move to Japan to pursue Psychology. She earned a scholarship at a small community college and majored in Psychology for 4 years before earning her Ph.D. She began working in the military as a psychiatrist for a while, before realizing she would be much happier in a hospital.


SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY


What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?

Gisela’s medical specialty would be military psychiatry or emergency psychiatry. She chose to focus on these specialties after her father had severe PTSD from a tragic accident in the military. Witnessing him recover thanks to his psychiatrist inspired her to pursue these positions.

Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?


Gisela worked in the military as a psychiatrist for a short time, that would be her only medical experience.


SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE


Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?


Gisela is a thin, ginger woman who stood at around 5'5. She had sky blue eyes and thin wispy bangs with hair that almost reached her waist. She had a friendly smile with freckles that decorated her pale skin. She smelled strongly of blueberries and vanilla.

Gisela would be perceived as very friendly and silly, while still very work driven and focused. She cared deeply for others and wore those feelings on her sleeve, while also cracking jokes often with those close to her.


How does your character act around the hospital?

Gisela is very friendly and helps in any ways she can. She is very work driven, putting her patients first, but you’ll often catch her assisting or being friendly with her co-workers whenever she isn’t busy with a patient.

Does your character function better on their own or with others?

Gisela functions best on her own as it allows her to focus on her task, but that doesn’t stop her from working well with others, as she loves to do anything she can to help out.
