Genuine question. Are people allowed to..well advertise their families on here or like, ask for a specific type of member needed for the family?

I think the eyes need to be somewhat closer to the skin, for if you look at the tutorials that someone has posted it might help you a bunch! I think the front hair also dials it down a bit as it looks really big and busy, unless that's your oc design ofc, but I think that's all!
